Friendly and helpful staff when we checked-in and checked out. We were given rooms 102, 103, 104, 105. Rooms were clean but a bit rundown, beds were so soft to our liking. Bathroom needs to be renovated. The food at the pub was great!

Booked online from another Country, no problem at all. The staff were great and very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. The Pub food was great and reasonably priced.

The staff were very nice and accommodating, and although the bathrooms in the rooms were in need of an upgrade it was a overall and nice comfortable stay. Also the courtyard area was a nice little touch and a place to relax.

Attentive, friendly and helpful staff! Rooms are clean and neat. Park your car right outside your room and the pub next door has excellent food. Support these lovely people and the restoration of Bealeys!

Simple, clean and spacious room with a grass area in front. Parking just outside the room and the pub next door has excellent food. But most important was the lovely staff. They went out of their way to help us with everything, including storage and traveling advice. We wish them good luck with rebuilding parts of the hotel after the... More

We arrived for 1 night's accommodation after attending Nitro Circus in Christchurch. We decided not to stay and headed back home that night. When we arrived we went to reception and were greeted by very polite staff who explained where our unit was and how to drive around to it. All car access to the units is limited and makes... More

This is a city devastated by earthquakes! It takes considerable time to rebuild! All Bealeys had left were their older motel style units, but reconstruction to replace the demolished building is starting. In the meantime, friendly, attentive staff, both in Reception & the Pub Bar & Dining Room, give warm welcome, and keep the rooms neat and clean, service prompt... More

Staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. However the rooms were very old and dingy. I didn't feel very clean being in there and the permanent light outside the door is very annoying when you are trying to sleep and it is beaming in your face all night. Walls are paper thin and upholstery very old. They say... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night with a group tour. The tour stuffed us 4 to a room which I think is a bit much. The receptionist (Lesley) I the loveliest woman. It started to rain so she have us umbrellas and was very helpful with any questions we had. The room was a decent size but the... More

“Wear yourself out locally and come home to sleep. Ask the kindly woman behind the desk for a WiFi key if you're staying in the hotel. Comparable to the things we saw in Europe at Novatels.”

“Until they rebuild, the rooms are all the same - about a motel 6 level - after the first (2010) quake they had rebuilt almost completely - a fine 3-story main hotel. Then the 2nd quake (2011), which killed so many downtown, totaled that newly built unit - it's now a gravel lot - It's going to take Christchurch years to get back to normal - all the hotels are fully booked all the time.”
