My wife and I stayed at Clearview Lodge for 3 nights. It was great. Robin and Sue are excellent hosts, nothing seemed too hard for them. The house is very spacious and comfortable with a large well appointed bedrooms, and a large guest lounge. The grounds are lovely with extensive gardens, a swimming pool, an orchard and vineyard. We particularly...

Fantastic large room in impressive property. Warm welcome from Robin and Sue, who gave information on locality and restaurants, and were waiting for us when we returned with a sample of wine from their vineyard. Great breakfast before we departed the following morning.

I stayed here on my own for two nights the 3rd & 4th Jan as part of my trip around NZ, and could not have been looked after better by Robin and Sue. When I arrived there was a large plate of fruit fresh from their lovely garden in my room. The lodge is beautiful with lovely bedrooms and the...

We were struck by the magnificence of the estate as we entered the driveway. The gorgeous estate home is enhanced by the surrounding 8 acres of olive, apple, nut trees and vineyard. Our rooms were lovely and impeccably appointed. We enjoyed a boisterous evening of wine and conversation with other guests and Robin and Sue. A very memorable and lovely...

We are glad you enjoyed your stay as we certainly did and haven't laughed so much in a long time. The best part of having guests stay, is the great people you meet.

Probably the most impressive b&b ever. Wonderful accomodation, most welcoming, interesting and helpful hosts. Superb quiet location, convenient for North or south highways. Amazing gardens, full of fruit, grape vines, and olive trees! Unmatched luxury.

We love meeting interesting people and chatting over a glass of our Pinot Noir or port and talking about peoples experiences enjoying our country and talking about all the things there are to see and do in the Christchurch and the rest of the South Island that they will...

We stayed at Clearview Lodge on 3rd & 4th January 2016 and wished we could have stayed longer! Robin & Sue have created a little piece of heaven. Their property is beautifully maintained both inside and out. The bed and pillows were so comfortable they made us sleep in and almost late for the amazingly good breakfast they provide. Fresh...

We enjoyed having you stay and hope we can fit in a round of golf with you next time you are over from Australia. We are really looking forward to watching some wonderful golf when Lydia Ko and many other of the top women in the world play in the ISPS Handa New Zealand Women Golf Open, at neighbouring Clearwater...

We stayed at the Clearview Lodge from December 17 - 18. Arriving to the South Island for the first time, we could not have had a better welcome! We felt at home from as soon as we arrived in the beautiful, garden vineyard setting. We knew almost nothing about the area, but Robin and Sue were more than helpful to...

Thank you, we love sharing our property with guests and helping out with booking restaurants and activities. We are very lucky to live here and our guests have varied interests but there is always something of interest to do wherever guests are going. The biggest problem is usually too many things to choose from, to fit into the time available....

We stayed one night with Robin and Sue. Robin was helpful in pointing us to a dinner option in town and we rang in the new year with them and other guests whose company we found very enjoyable. Fantastic place to stay on the front end or back end of a visit to New Zealand. We spent our last night...

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for us. We do appreciate it. It was nice to meet your sons before their flight. We do find being so close to airport and the city is very convenient. There aren't many cities in the world where you can enjoy space and a rural out look with our own vineyard...

The place to be, super warm welcome with the Pinot Noir of the Estate, lots of time to chat with charming owners at breakfast, beautiful house and garden, gorgeous golf club club at a walking distance. We have now found our address everytime we pass through Christchurch. We could have easily spent a few days. It had a holiday feel....

Thanks for your kind words. We are glad you enjoyed our Pinot. I'm going out to work in the vines now, before our next guests arrive. Hopefully the weather will be kind as the crop is looking really good thus far. We look forward to seeing you when you are next in Christchurch and maybe we can fit in a...
