We chose to stay at the Manor as it promised lovely rooms with the charm of long gone days. Unfortunately, we did not get what we expected. Merivale Manor is actually a motel (with a main house and additional motel-like rooms) - which was mentioned on all the reviews ad booking sites, but not on the actual website I had...

I booked this hotel as it comes up number one on TripAdvisor, we stayed last week and are back again today. The building is very special, and is every bit as good as the pictures. The welcome from Warren, Gwyneth and Charlene is very warm too. The hotel is a few minutes from the Merivale area which has some nice...

Stayed here for 2 nights in a superior spa room. Very impressed with the modern bathroom and kitchen. The jet tub was very much appreciated after a long day of travel. Very clean room. Laundry room is available for guests at no charge. The hotel is within walking diastance to services you will need such as grocery, pharmacy, shops, restaurants....

This will go down in my memories as one of the best places I've ever stayed. The grounds and house are beautiful and extremely well-maintained! The room we had was comfortable and perfectly clean, tastefully decorated with a blend of Victorian and modern. Warren and Gwyneth were friendly and offered their expertise about the surrounding area, including offering to make...

I'm a regular at the manor & consistently receive a warm welcome & very high standard of accommodation. Attention to detail is what they do here. Lovely, spotless & pretty. Love my stay here. Sit out on the deck & enjoy the surroundings. Walking distance from nice places to eat depending on what you feel like & the lovely hosts...

From the moment of check-in Warren and Gwyneth made us feel like old friends and the customer service stayed that way the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a front room of the property room, which was immaculate, modern and tasteful. We did not find the traffic to be a problem. The location is fantastic, with...

This place is well appointed and the hosts are very nice and helpful, but if you have one of the new rooms in the front rather than in the old house in the picture, you are very close to a busy road and there is a lot of traffic noise. So it's a good place to stay if you don't...

We stayed here in a three bedroom apartment - 6 people and a baby - me, my husband and our 7 month old, my husbands parents, brother and sister and it was actually really comfortable which is saying a lot for that many people living together. The lay out of the apartment was really good with rooms on separate levels...

The motel look old style. However, interior finishing is near new. The room (small Studio) is really small and it located upstairs without lift. You need carry your own luggage via stairs. The motel listed as breakfast included. However, the reception hands over two toasts and a bottle of milk. there are cereal packs in the room. That is it....
