Such a lovely place to stay. Amazing service and room conditions, possibly the biggest & most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Quiet & extremely comfortable. Close to the CBD & a ton of lovely little places to eat within walking distance.

The Manor by name and reputation, this beautifully restored character villa must surely be the pride of Christchurch. Well appointed suites with high attention to detail, I'll be sure to stay here on all my future visits. Thanks Warren & Gwyneth

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our holiday to NZ and 2 nights at the end of our stay. The rooms were very comfortable. The layout was great and all the details covered. A continental breakfast was supplied and was more than adequate for us. This was our first trip to the South Island of NZ... More

We had two nights here and found the apartment warm, comfortable and well thought out. There is a small stove and fridge so you can cook if you want to. They also have bikes for hire, with helmets, front basket, lock and a map of where to cycle. I cycled around the Botanic Gardens and the city centre and it... More

Stayed just one night in a room in the manor itself and I must say, it was truly a manor experience! The room was beautifully furnished with attention to details that made the stay exceptional. The bathroom was clean, there was a lovely sound system, the towels were fluffy. There was a reading room outside our bedroom too. We had... More

We had excellent service and felt like we had every comfort that we would have if we were in our home, such as washer/dryer, full kitchen, easy access to locations. The apartments work out really well for families and offer three good size bedrooms and two full bathrooms. We will definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here a few times with work and will continue to do so. It's located close to good restaurants and bars. The hosts are super friendly - even to Aucklanders! - and rooms are very clean and warm.

Stayed here last week; great experience! Hosts are very friendly and lots of attention to small details I appreciated. I have a thing about baths and this has to be the largest and deepest baths I've ever had in this style of accommodation...great!!

Merivale Lodge is a great place to stay. Accommodation is superb and hosts Warren and Gwnyeth are the very best. Nothing is too much for them. This was our third visit and each time they have excelled in accommodation and service. They absolutely know what their guests like. It's a 20 minute walk from the city but there is a... More

We were happy with our decision to stay on Papanui Road in Merivale, close to restaurants and shopping, and even happier that we booked into the Webb Suite at Merivale Manor. From the moment of our arrival, hosts Warren and Gwyneth were extremely warm and friendly, showed us around the magnificent historic (but recently refurbished) mansion, and ensured that we... More
