I spent two nights at the lovely Merivale Manor on a recent business trip. My colleagues and I stayed in the Manor House, a beautifully restored historic home. The rooms are cozy and tastefully appointed. Complimentary continental breakfast is included. Great location and an easy 20-min walk to the CBD. Karen and Wayne are excellent hosts, very kind with superb...

We stayed in the manor house. Beautiful appointed rooms, great bed. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great decor. Area is close to supermarket, Hagley park, botanical gardens. Our hosts were great, made us feel extremely welcome and great tips on winery's and beaches to visit.

We made a last minute reservation and arrived late at night, every thing was easy and uncomplicated for our arrival. The room itself was lovely as well. Everything we needed in a beautiful old home. Would definitely stay again

My wife and I landed here after a 24 hour ordeal with Qantas and it was one the best we had in NZ on our 19 day trip. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport via Super Shuttle and is located on a road filled with motels. CBD is about 20 minutes walk but there is a blue-line...

We stayed at the Merivale Manor for one night on a trip around the South Island, and Christchurch was our last stop before heading home. The Merivale Manor was by far the most beautiful lodging we stayed in all week! The 19th century manor house has been meticulously restored and the rooms are lovingly decorated - old charm with every...

My wife and I only stayed there for one night while in Christchurch, but it was just what we needed after nearly 30 hours of travel. It's within walking distance of some good food and the bed was plenty comfortable.

A dream place for a Bride and her Bridesmaids to get ready before the big day! The amazing Te Wepu Suite could not have been more perfect! Plenty of space, beautiful decor and charm. It made for a very special day and some incredible pre-wedding photos. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay...

Stayed there on two occasions, sparkling clean and modern finish, helpful friendly hosts, convenient walk to city, gardens, restaurants, only issue there are are two rooms adjacent to a busy road, the proprietor said these are used when other rooms are full, seems they were full on our first night, got a good nights sleep in a room further away...
