On the whole, a good B and b. After a very long flight from England via Bankok, we arrived here to find our names attached to the door with a key attached. It would have been very nice to have been met by someone but I do appreciate that this is a business and the owners did not appear to...

Hello, Thank you for your review. I do indeed live on the premises and had I known you were arriving late, we could have made an arrangement for your arrival. Our reception is open until 7pm and we always ask for an expected arrival time so we can arrange for late arrivals. Perhaps you had booked through an agent and...

We stayed here on 27th Febuary for 1 night. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. The city centre was only a few hundred metres away as were some nice restaurants. The breakfast was more than enough. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We were warmly greeted by Jan in this lovely building. Nothing was too much trouble, Jan booked us our evening meal at the Strawberry Fare and it turned out to be the best dinner we had in the 30 days of travel. She also booked our taxi for next days homeward bound journey. I wish we could have stayed here...

Close to the botanical garden, reStart mall (small but unique), and bus terminal, this quaint boutique B and B was perfect for a one night stay. Parts of Christchurch are quiet following the earthquakes, but the location of this bed and breakfast was excellent. Breakfast consisted of toast and jam. Staff was helpful with recommendations for dinner reservations. Would recommend...

Hi David, Thank you for your review. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Just one thing bother me: you mentioned breakfast was toast and jam. Our breakfast consists of so much more than that. Even if you leave very early, and we leave it out for you, there are: cereals, fresh milk, yogurts, fresh fruit, nuts, orange juice,...

Orari B&B is a lovely property in the perfect location of Christchurch with all sights and amenities in walking distance. Our room on the first floor was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was light and functional with a walk-in shower. Everything was very clean and tidy. Really handy to have stowing space for the suitcases too. Breakfast...

Beautiful old house , tastefully converted. Rooms of different sizes. We had a very large room ( number 5 ) upstairs. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. In the evening, we met up with other guests in the spacious lounge, enjoying our complimentary glass of wine. Good recommendation and booking for local restaurants, by the manager Jan. Who was very helpful and...

Stayed two nights. Converted villas divisible into separate rooms for the likes of a solo business person. Safe, secure rooms. You can have the entire villa if you want. Appears that lots of tourists use it. Breakfast provided. Continental plus. Very well set up. Not so suitable for young families ( unless you take an entire villa)

Perhaps we were just unlucky to get the room that we got; #1. Next to the backdoor of the premises (everyone passing could look right in and the noise from the tiny wheels on the luggage was sometimes deafening) and at the beginning of the corridor that also provided entry to the shared facilities like the lounge and the front...

Hello Mr Helmich, So many of the many excellent reviews are from guests who stayed in that room and loved it. It is roomy (and at a good rate) with ensuite bathroom and a very comfortable bed and nice and handy to all the facilities. We have several regular guests for whom it is their room of choice. As long...

We stayed three nights here in a comfortable room on the ground floor. The house is large and has a beautiful living area for guests, and complimentary wine is served each afternoon. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious and the staff were friendly band helpful. The B&B is within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens and Canterbury Museum, both of...

Lovely B&B with 10 rooms in the heart of the city, next to park, botanical gardens, museums and the city's iSite center. Cozy but ample rooms, soft terry cloth robes, and a spectacular breakfast selection.
