This is a relatively large B&B; 10 rooms with a maximum capacity of 2 dozen people. There is a professional, full-time staff and an on-site manager. The breakfasts are excellent, with great variety and served in abundance. A nice touch is the Happy Hour from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM when wine is served to all guests in the Sitting...

Orari Bed and Breakfast is a delightful hidden gem in the heart of Christchurch with an old world charm, a warm welcome, charming heritage house beautifully restored and decorated, with a wonderful eclectic art collection, surrounded by peaceful gardens. I stayed as solo women traveller in May 2017 in room 7 on the first floor, squeaky clean, quiet, peaceful, great...

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We arrived late - able to contact the staff and get a key dropped off. Room was quiet, had coffee and tea. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars. Wish we could have stayed more days.

Wonderful place to stay, very convenient for town and any sights you want to get to. The house is very comfortable, the staff very welcoming especially our host, Julie. They could not have done more for us. Highly recommend this as a place to stay and relax whilst visiting Christchurch.

We love to stay in special places when we travel (old and new). Well, this certainly is special. Our trip to New Zealand was 3 weeks and the Orari was a delightful page in our memory book! Jan is great! You feel as if you couldn't have the Orari if you didn't have Jan to go with it! Our room...

Owner, Jan, could not be more attentive and obliging to us in her lovely 1900's charming B&B home. Right near heart of Christchurch city, but pleasantly quiet! Excellent breakfast in wonderful, spacious dining room. Across the road from Christchurch's superb new art gallery. Close to quaint tram for excellent tour of the City. So impressed with our first stay, we...

We stayed here for one night at the beginning and end of our 15 day self-drive holiday in March. On both occasions we were met with friendly, efficient hosts (Jan on the first night - Shirley on the last one.) They were so helpful and even booked us into Fiddlesticks restaurant just across the road - highly recommend! The food...

On the whole, a good B and b. After a very long flight from England via Bankok, we arrived here to find our names attached to the door with a key attached. It would have been very nice to have been met by someone but I do appreciate that this is a business and the owners did not appear to...

Hello, Thank you for your review. I do indeed live on the premises and had I known you were arriving late, we could have made an arrangement for your arrival. Our reception is open until 7pm and we always ask for an expected arrival time so we can arrange for late arrivals. Perhaps you had booked through an agent and...

We stayed here on 27th Febuary for 1 night. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. The city centre was only a few hundred metres away as were some nice restaurants. The breakfast was more than enough. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We were warmly greeted by Jan in this lovely building. Nothing was too much trouble, Jan booked us our evening meal at the Strawberry Fare and it turned out to be the best dinner we had in the 30 days of travel. She also booked our taxi for next days homeward bound journey. I wish we could have stayed here...

Hi Brian, It was so lovely to have you stay with us. I knew you would enjoy Strawberry Fare and they did not disappoint! The historic tram is a great way to really see the city, so it's great you took that opportunity. Remember, if you are ever back in Christchurch, we would love to you stay again. My regards,...
