We stayed just one night but it didn't take time to find The Grange is close to almost everywhere you might want to visit in Christchurch, while the room is kept away from the road and it's quiet. Room is clean and cozy, staff are very warmly welcoming.

Great central location for walking around Christchurch. Huge room/suite in the motel behind the main house. This included a small kitchen area where we could make tea. Breakfast is not included, but there are nearby places,an easy and pleasant walk. way.(We had breakfast at Fiddlesticks.) Although the location is on busy corner, we didnt hear any street noise from the...

Stayed here about 7 years ago and just as nice this time round. Only grizzle would be that the TV volume was not adjustable and the internet connection kept dropping out.All that aside we would stay again in a heart beat.

We stayed 2 nights in the motel part of the Grange. Staff was super helpful, arranging transport to the train and the airport. Perfect location for walking to sights, shopping, and restaurants. Tram stop less than a block away for a longer tour. Enjoyed first floor corner room with access to lovely courtyard just outside our door. Comfortable beds, modern...

Very central without being on top of the main drag. Very comfortable room, very spacious, very clean with a very good bed and bathroom. Staff were very welcoming and happy to help with some serious problems we had encountered and went out of their way to support us long after we had left NZ. They offered us assistance with bookings...

The Grange Guesthouse is a beautiful and gracious house in Christchurch. We were in an upstairs bedroom which was roomy and very comfortable. The included breakfast was fabulous with friendly, efficient service and fresh, delicious fare. We were keen to see the Cathedral damaged in the 2011 earthquake and were saddened to see it look much as it did after...

Motel section had clean, well-appointed, modern facilities including kitchenette. Clever use of space made room feel even larger. Bi-fold glass doors completely open to balcony, with reflective shades for sunny afternoons. Reasonably priced, easy walking distance to Chch attractions, free parking. WiFi inconsistent at times, but overall a favorite over 3 weeks in NZ!

I got in quite late but my key was available at the door without hassle. My room was directly at the front of the house, right next to the main entrance, which meant it was a bit noisy. The room itself was just fine, clean and had a good bed. It was a bit noisy (it is an old town...

Great location with easy walk to most attractions. Spacious room with huge bathroom. Spotlessly clean and easy parking. Staff helpful and friendly. Had wifi issue - strong signal but no connection. Otherwise everything else was super and would recommend.
