We had a double room here for two nights. Theresia was very helpful and friendly! Room was excellent and very clean. As was the very well equipped kitchen. Beautiful gardens are lovely to relax or eat in.

I only stayed there in this backpacker for one night but it made quite an impression! The girl at the reception makes you feel welcome, and you quickly discover a really lovely place. The kitchen is perhapd a bit small but very clean and well equiped. Confy bed, a little warm in the room but you can leave the windows...

It was the first stop of our road trip in NZ when we arrived in Christchurch. We had a double room for gods sake we had a heater in the room because it was pretty cold in september. (windows are not european quality) The living and kitchen area is very tidy and the young girl at the check in was...

It's a small hostel, very personal. The kitchen is well eqipped and we always met friendly people to talk to. The only problem was the bed...it was really uncomfortable. Relating to the price per night (double room), it was okay! On the other side of the road, you can have breakfast in the Herb Café!

Without a doubt, this was the best hostel to stay at in Christchurch. Located in the CBD, but far enough outside of the tourist bits to be quiet. Main Christchurch downtown attractions are, at maximum, a 20-30 min walk away (this includeds the fantastic Botantical Gardens in Hagley Park) Everything is fantastic at this hostel; the service, the facilities, the...

There was enough space in the rooms for every backpack, and there was a power socket at each bed. Everything including toilets and showers was clean. And they have a really nice garden where you could relax, eat, drink and chat. Some of the long-term guests were kind of rude, but the staff was nice! It takes about 20 minutes...

We have stayed in a few different hostels in Christchurch and Foley Towers was by far and away our favourite! The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help you in any way they can. It is a very social hostel and the kitchens and common areas are great.
