Perfect location, clean rooms, comfy bed, quiet beautiful place!! We stayed 3 nights and I wish it could've been more. No cons in my opinion (maybe if you are a solo traveller, this may not be a good place to meet people). Thank you very much for a wonderfully relaxing time in Christchurch!

One of the best hostels we've been to. We stayed there for 4 nights. Awesome friendly staff, nice 2 person room, perfect location to take a walk in the city centre and perfect kitchen facilities. Definately worth another visit.

Great little converted villa right near the center of the city. Well equipped and clean but still plenty of character, car-b-q was great. Only 5-15 minutes walk to the main attractions like restart and botanic gardens. Staff member was very friendly and welcoming with excellent local knowledge which was readily shared. As a bonus Christchurch had the world buskers festival...

Spent 3 days here just before christmas and loved it. Friendly staff, good location on a quiet street, affordable and a gorgeous old villa with a resident cat. Only down side for me as an eco traveler is that there are many things they could be doing to reduce water/power consumption but aren't (dripping taps are a personal pet hate)....

Very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located, not a typical backpackers-more like a b&b without the breakfast. Clean, warm, comfortable and friendly. Electric blankets were very welcomed, bathrooms clean and modern. Cute herb garden and kitchen facilities. We really enjoyed staying here :)

If your room is in the main house it will be off the main hallway that heavy-footed people stomp down. Reception is in the hallway too, the phone didn't ring but could have easily woken me up as it was right outside my room. There was a noisy group in the kitchen, (also off the same hallway), until midnight and...

I really liked this place. The cat was a great bonus! Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are clean. Kitchen is well stocked (with free herbs!). It is definitely a quiet hostel, this is not a place to go for a party. Since it is a smaller hostel it has a much more relaxed feeling than others I have been in. Since...

Very colourful. Clean and well-maintained. Very quiet, both in location and inside. Not in the damaged area, but is a fair walk from the centre of town. However, there are several buses available and airport/train transfers will pick up and drop off. Lovely fat orange cat and pleasant staff. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there and highly recommend it. Word of warning,...

We only stayed there for one night and enjoyed the double room they have by the garage. It was just a short walk outside to the bathroom in the big house...in the rain!!! I would only recommend a small ledge on top of the door of room so you will not get wet while trying to open your bedroom´s door....
