This place is to just down from the isite where the buses drop you off, which is why I chose this location, its also opposite the botanic gardens and near cafe and restaurant. However there is no supermarket near here, takeaway, bar or anywhere to eat cheaply. Although Chch is doing its best to rebuild it has a very odd...

I stayed this hostel in November 2014 for three nights. I have a car so it was great that there is a big car park behind of the building. The hostel belongs to a good restaurant, a cafe and a cool gym. I enjoyed workouts and chill out. This hostel also provide an apartment room with awesome price. Good staffs...

For the last nights in Christchurch I stayed in the YMCA in a Private Double non-ensuite, I did not know much about YMCAs before and I just randomly booked the bed but was surprised. The YMCA on Hereford Street is a huge complex of a hostel / hotel and has a gym, a restaurant and a vending machine. I guess...

Had a great stay here in a twin private room, great location: only 10mins away from town centre and the restart mall and just opposite the gardens. The staff were super friendly from check in to check out, and the rooms were spacious with comfy beds, I especially liked the electric blanket! Nice touch guys

Located centrally, near to most of the sightseeing places. The rooms are comfortable, sleep quality is good, bathrooms are well maintained, charging points are handy, bed quality is good. The community kitchen is extremely small and is full at times. You need to wait in queue for your turn to come and cook. The refrigerator is handy, you can keep...

We booked and arrived on the same day ana were unable to stay together as there was no space. When we arrived the staff had given us a private twin room for the same price as the dorms so we wouldn't be separated - such a nice gesture! Very clean and tidy rooms and good cooking facilities. Good location for...

Spent one night here arriving at 2am. It is the cheapest accommodation with 24hr check-in in Christchurch. Bed was comfortable and location was good. 20 min bus ride back to the airport the following day costs $8.

This hostel was fairly bare boned, but comfortable. The young ones running rampage outside our room made for a disturbed night sleep, but I remember what it was like to be young, so no hard feelings. Shower facilities where up to standard.

This is a good hostel if you don't expect to much. It has everything you need. A comfy bed, friendly staff, a vending machine if you feel like a late night snack and it's just opposite of where most of the big long distance busses go such as naked bus and intercity. You meet people from all over the world...
