Peter and Lena provide excellent customer service including pickup and dropoff from/to Christchurch railway station. Conveniently located for a walk through the botanical gardens to tourist attractions such as the museum and Avon river punting. The tram ride, and Gondola tour pickup starts opposite the museum, while the Cathedral square is just a 5 minute walk ahead from the museum....

Excellent value for money. Complimentary pick up from station. Room has everything required for a comfortable stay. I stayed here for two nights and couldn't fault it. Nice location too overlooking Christchurchs biggest park.

This motel is kept up very well. The room had three beds, a kitchen, two Tuva, a sitting area, and a bathroom. It was basically a furnished one-bedroom apartment with an extra bed in the living room. They had a complimentary pick-up from the train station. We even got a ride to one of the tram stops. They also stored...

My husband and I presently travel to Christchurch for work every two to three weeks. We always stay at Argyle. Peter and Lena make you feel very welcome and the rooms are always clean and tidy. The motel has a lovely outlook - overlooking Hagley Park. Riccarton Westfield Mall is close and there are plenty of restaurants and bars around...

Staff are friendly, room was very tidy/clean, close to Ricarton Mall and right across the road from hagley park. They have a stove and oven which makes it easy to cook your own meals if you didn't want to go out every night. Would recommend to anyone coming to Christchurch for a stay

From booking (3 units for a group of 7), to driving us all to the train station, Peter and Lena were friendly and helpful. They had the heaters turned on in all 3 rooms for when we arrived - it was so nice to walk into warm rooms in the middle of winter. They left the motel earlier than usual...

Very Good location right opposite Hagley Park and very close to restaurants on Riccarton Road. A bit dated, but clean and tidy. Friendly reception and good free wi fi, TV in both rooms, heater etc. very adequate for our first night in New Zealand.

Rooms we had were clean and well presented. New Manager extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. Excellent location for all sporting activities and tournaments in Hagley Park, including the new cricket oval - just a 2 min walk across the road:), Plus shopping and dinner & takeaways on Riccarton road. We would recommend to anyone...

New managers are amazing and went out of their way to help us. They were very patient and loaded all our bags and then all of us and delivered us to the railway station. Rooms were comfortable ( we had 3 ) and location great. Would totally recommend.

My husband and I stayed at Argyle on the Park for the first three nights of our two-week vacation in New Zealand. We enjoyed Argyle on the Park so much, it became the positive standard to which the rest of our accommodations were compared! We visited at the end of autumn/beginning of winter, so it got dark early. This meant...
