Stayed here for a few nights for work. It looks like they have tried to spruce up the rooms but it has the feeling of a Bach once in the kitchen/bathroom spaces. When comparing this to other places I had stayed in the area for the same price it was a bit of a let down. The bed was comfortable...

Despite two emails asking for confirmation of accessibility for a wheelchair and assurance that they were suitable for a wheelchair, on arrival i found the only accessible bit was the front door. Bathroom and toilet doors and rooms narrow. No handles in either toilet or shower. Ledge to get over into shower which you couldn't get near with a chair...

We stayed here in January. A great find with a pool! The kids were thrilled. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Lovely owners who helped us store a laugh age after an early flight, despite checking in later in the day. Owners were obliging and helpful.

This was our 4th visit, now has new owners who are very welcoming. Really comfy beds, big rooms, the bathrooms could do with an update but overall good value for money. Close to shopping centre. Would stay again

Stayed in Unit 7 in early October - it's a comfortable and clean unit off Papanui Road - with no traffic noise. The unit was clean, spacious and well maintained with everything we wanted. There's unlimited wifi which is always a good thing. It's within walking distance of Merivale Mall and a supermarket and perhaps a 15 minute walk into...

We have stayed in this Motel regularly for a few years now. It was always clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and everything went well, that was up until our last visit. Not sure but think there are relatively new owners. That doesn't excuse the fact that when we booked in the heater wasn't working. Winter in Christchurch is no fun, you...

I booked the Diplomat purely because of its location, being close to St Georges hospital (700m down the road). Surprised with how big the studio unit was. Unit was clean, super comfy bed, Freeview tv and fully equipped kitchen. My only negative comment was the road noise....I stayed in unit # 3 which is relatively close to the road and...

I booked due to positive reviews but was disappointed with my stay. The key was super hard to work. The bed was very soft. The soap and shampoo were out in the bathroom. The cold tap made a horrendous noise. Light bulbs had blown. When I mentioned all of these at the front desk, the response was "It's an old...

We stayed here for 3 nights during a very warm spell. The pool was a welcome assett. Our room was clean, comfortable and roomy. I would happily stay here again. They also sent my phone charger I carelessly left behind - thanks.
