Such a beautiful home to stay .............. the owners did, in fact, describe her as being a gracious old lady!". The rooms were downstairs and ours opened onto the garden and a dear little patio. Barry and Angela could not have been kinder and we went away feeling that we had made special friends. The breakfast felt as though we...

Angela and Barry are very affable hosts who try very hard to create a home from home stay.Bedrooms are downstairs which might not suit everybody but each room does have an outside balcony and the breakfast table upstairs and the associated rooms have the most panoramic views of Christchurch. The property is situate on a fairly busy road so there may...

My husband and I wanted to stay somewhere special with a real kiwi B&B experience but unfortunately Dyers house is not that place. The location is indeed wonderful and the house is a nice old wooden home. However, it was really noisy and we haven't slept properly for two nights. The bedrooms are near the road which is quite noisy,...

Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent stay at Dyers House. We were very concerned to know of your disappointment regarding some aspects of your stay, particularly as it is the first such review we have received in all of our 15 years in operation. With our overall rating on Trip Adviser and with a 9.7...

I would rate my stay 11 out of 10 if I could. Thank you so much Angela and Barry for looking after me like one of the family. The room was heavenly. I don"t think I have slept so well anywhere and in such comfort. I am very much looking forward to returning very soon.

Roger, thank you for your wonderful review. It was a pleasure having you here and I'm delighted you enjoyed your time with us. Barry and I were both caught up in the excitement of your Commonwealth Tournament and successes during your stay here in Christchurch. Delighted to see you carry home those medals - a wonderful achievement and such happy...

We felt very fortunate to have spent 2 nights earlier this week at Dyers House, a boutique B & B nestled on a hill overlooking Christchurch. . The house is very elegant and filled with lovely furniture and artwork. Our large downstairs bedroom looked out over a flower-filled garden and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. After returning from dinner we...

I have just had the absolute pleasure of spending a night with Angie and Barry at Dyers House. Be prepared to be pampered. I don't think you will forget this experience. And the view, inside and out...breathtaking.

Well well, I can go on and on about this place, especially about Angela,Barry and our experience at Dyers house. An Elite upscale property over the hills, 10 - 15 mins drive from the city center. We spent 21 days in New Zealand, and Dyers House was one of 14 places we stayed. Although it was comfortable, it just didn't seem as outstanding as many of the others we'd stayed at. Our hosts were congenial, the accomodations were nice, but unlike many of the other B&Bs we'd stayed at, this felt very much like a retro-fit...

We had a lovely (but brief) stay at Dyers House. Best to stay at least two days to appreciate. The facility is fantastic with wonderful views of Christchurch. The owners are friendly and accommodating. A very friendly cat made our stay like a home away from home.
