Serene, classy and gorgeous. Marlborough Lodge is a beautiful place to stay, the setting is tranquil with vines and gardens. The rooms are very well appointed, I very much like the nice touch of a complimentary mini bar with a great selection on offer. The service is unstuffy and excellent. The food was divine and world class. If you want...

Stayed at The Marlborough Lodge , the welcome from General Manager Peter White made us feel very much at home, pre dinner drinks was relaxing beside the fire, the dinning room dinner was the best ever, the Chef Jason came out to talk and I'd rate the meal 11 out of 10 . What an amazing experience. Breakfast stared with...

To be fair The Lodge was at a slight disadvantage before we arrived as we were so blown away by Edenhouse where we had just stayed. If you are looking at staying in both these accommodations I would suggest staying here first – I think that would have worked better. The drive in and grounds are a delight. The house...

Dear Fleetcat, Thank you so much for your review and great feed back, it is really appreciated and certainly does help with the work in progress. Eden House certainly is a wonderful property and Peter & Bobby do a great job, and for those looking to stay in the Nelson region they would be my first choice. Our opening in...

Stayed 3 nights 2/22-2/25/17 and spent most of the time visiting wineries with our wonderful driver/guide Gary Norris from the Marlborough Tour Company which is a part owner of the Lodge. They arranged an outing on a tour boat out onto the sound where we visited mussel farming and tasted freshly caught and cooked mussels. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds...

From the moment owner Peter White welcomed us, we knew we were in a special place. Peter has lived all over the world (Australia, England, Canada and now New Zealand).
