We chose this motel as we were told by the tourist information centre that most hotels would be booked out due to flower festival, this motel still had vacancies and it was close to Main Street. I got a strange vibe from the motelier right away and I was reluctant to stay but didn't know if we would find anything...

We stayed at 193 Aorangi for a couple of nights whilst visiting Marlborough wineries. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. There was a separate kitchen, bathroom, toilet and bedroom off the main lounge area. It was more like a mini apartment with parking right next to the room. It was lovely at the end of the day to sit...

My first experience with this motelier nearly had me saying "Don't bother", but I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt. When I rang to book, he asked more questions than I have struck in my many motel bookings. I gather this was to pre-complete the form that you normally fill in on arrival. His final telephone...

After having some hectic last minute booking of the accommodation we weren't sure about the place based on the limited number of photos but after arriving I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and friendly the staff were. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable and had a lovely 'home' feel to them rather than a motel feel which was...

I shared a motel room with a friend for 2 nights. Continental breakfast was available. Beds were clean and comfortable. Each cabin had a small kitchen - worked for us since we catered for ourselves. Our room had a spa bath which was most welcome after a long walk. The proprietors were helpful in giving information on local attractions and...

This was our second motel in New Zealand. It was warmer and cleaner than the first. By now we realised they haven't invented central heating down under yet. This motel has hot air blowers in each room which helped and we didn't have to go to bed in out coats again. In the summer I guess it is quite pleasent

I had read the reviews and kinda knew I would be disappointed and I was. Unfortunately everywhere else was booked. Motel is advertised as four stars - it clearly isn't. Proprietors need to reevaluate that! Clean and tidy- yes. Ok for one night - I suppose. Value for money - no. Some of the appliances (especially the hairdryer) were older...

We booked this motel because there was nothing else available for our stay in Blenheim. I didn't have high expectations before we arrived. They were not met. We arrived at the motel to the longest check in ever - we were subjected to the third degree - did we want to use the pool, what were our plans, where we...

Aorangi Manor Motel, is situated a short walk. From the Town centre. On arrival we were met by a very pleasant lady in the reception. My first impression was good but having travelled around the South Island getting free wifi, was horrified to find that there was a small limited amount but you could get 2gb for fifteen dollars, surely...
