Motel room aged and no windows in bedrooms which made a closed in affect. No handrails in bathroom, kitchen or bedrooms. Hand basin in bathroom extremely small. Oh yes don't forget the trains running throughout the night and extremely close. If you don't like train noise don't stay here. Manager and staff were extremely helpful.

Holiday park in general seems very worn and used. Although fairly well maintained it cannot overcome the feel of being worn. Big campervan area on grass - only a few on sealed surface, and they are right next to the railway, which of course is noisy

Being in a dry region we are trying to keep our sites as "grassy" as possible. We are trying to minimize the tar-sealed sites which do not look good in holiday parks but we will be happy to add more if there is a demand for it. Thanks for the advice

We stayed in a self contained unit which would also be perfect for a family of 4. A clean& comfortable room in a quiet park. The managers were extremely friendly & there is a pub across the road that does reasonably priced meals as the park is located just out of town.

Very disappointed from the moment we arrived - sorry. The Park's situation is close to town, right on a dangerous corner of the main highway with a railway line almost as close. Very noisy and hot in the units so we were pleased to leave. Our 2 bedroom kitchen unit was also on the access road into the property so...

Appreciate your comment on the noise, which, unfortunately there is nothing much we can do about it apart from recent double-glaze of the windows. Regards

I assume you get what you pay for. This last minute bargain was not really a bargain - would have been upset to pay full price for it. Everything was clean but passed it's best. The beds were noisy and very soft. The advertised 'coffee & tea making facilities' meant - a kettle and plastic cups! The showers in a...

I can not not fault the camping ground itself , we stayed in a standard cabin , it was very clean and of high standard , the shower block and toilets and kitchen were all super clean ....my biggest bug with this camping ground is "change the rooms Numbers to 1 up to how many rooms you have no matter...

We love Top 10 parks, but we struggled with this one. Self-contained room facilities were a little dated, which was okay for an overnight stay, but the beds were in tiny window-less rooms and were unbearable on a hot summer night. And let's not forget the freight trains running right past the rooms in the middle of the night...

This is a modest sized site in a good location. The facilities were modern, well maintained and clean. Friendly, helpful staff at reception. There is also a cafe/restaurant next door which was recommended (we didn't eat there) and certainly seemed to be buzzing.

Very nice park for a Caravan and you leave you Caravan there while you visit Wellington. Only complaint was where they put as you had to climb a hill to go to showers and toilet. Not very good for the elderly who can't walk.

We rocked up to our 4 person basic cabin. We were just there for a night before continuing our travels south. Even though the room came equipped with a kettle and a toaster, there was only a couple of paper cups and no plates or cutlery. There was also nothing in the kitchen, so we had to run out to...
