We stayed at City B&B for just one night about a year ago and I've been meaning to write this review for a long time, the house is gorgeous, located within walking distance from the city center. The hosts were really friendly and very helpful - they even drove us down to the ferry the morning after. This is just...

City B&B can be found at the very top of Majoribanks street, at the top of the hill. We stayed for two nights in the B&B room in the main house. The room had a lovely double bed with an en-suite shower room. It also had doors onto a small patio area which would be fab to sit out in...

This was our first experience of a Kiwi Bed and Breakfast as we travelled for 3 weeks north/south island. What a pleasure. This was our 1st holiday in nz but the hospitality which we received from Dean and Jeff was second to none and was very re-assuring. Dean met us from the railway station and after 2 nhts took us...

Stayed for two nights at City Bed and Breakfast. Received with a warm welcome from Jeff and Dean, nibbles and drinks overlooking Wellington from near Mount Victoria. City B&B is very well located for walking access to the city with lots of good restaurants and bars nearby: the walk into the city is much easier than the walk back as...

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. As we only have one guest room in our home we do not feel it is necessary to have locks on any doors, except the bathrooms. Our office and bedroom on the top floor does not have any locks either. The guest bathroom, with shower and basin, is...

Jeff and Dean's place is straight up the hill from the Embassy Theatre and at the base of Alexandra Park overlooking the city. The room is well appointed and has its own garden. The kitchen shared with the guys is stocked with lots of goodies for breakfast. They gave us great instructions on how to get around and things to...

My husband and I spent two nights at the start of our NZ trip. It was a quiet location and a great place to get over jet lag. We were welcomed with homemade Christmas cookies and beverages. It was close to town so we walked to see the sights and to restaurants. Jeff gave us a map and suggested a...

We've just returned from a 6 week bicycling tour of the entire South Island! An amazing trip! We stayed in both of the City Cottage locations; near Cuba St and the Mt. Victoria location. BOTH places were perfect! Clean, hip decor, centrally located, very spacious and had everything you might need. Jeff and Dean are perfect hosts. We loved this...

Although Jeff was out when we arrived we had clear instructions on how to get in - and park the car! After a quick walk down the hill to visit the amazing new museum we returned to meet Jeff and learn a lot about the city and NZ in general over a friendly glass of wine. His recommendations for restaurants...
