Location was excellent for me personally, as the Basin Reseve was a 10-min walk from hotel. Not much fuss. Room had everything that you usually see in a hotel room in New Zealand. The iron and the ironing board was quite helpful. Comfortable sleep.

We stayed at Willis Wellington for 3 nights recently. I should say that I got fooled with the photos when I booked this hotel. Here are the + and - about our stay: Positive: staff were friendly Negative: we didn't feel very safe in this building maybe because we could see that it hasn't been maintained properly and it is...

Dear Farzad P Thank you for your time and review. We value your feedbacks and are sorry to read that your stay was not as enjoyable as it should have been. Unfortunately Wellington is one of the windiest city in the world and we regret that you stayed over a night which seems to have been very windy. We constantly...

Excellent stay thanks to very professional and friendly staff. We arrived earlier than checkin time and were able to store luggage for free. The front desk team gave us a lot of advise about what to do in Wellington - recommend to do a beer tasting at Garage Project next door. Room was spacious and very clean with all amenities...

Perfectly adequate. We checked in Thomas and the other lively Indian gent at the counter were so polite and helpful, we had a car park booked but it's a tight squeeze to park due to lack of adequate turning room, our car is long and thus was impossible to manoeuvre without damaging the mag wheels on the pavement... the staff...

We traveled to go to a concert. Just stayed the one night and staff were very helpful at getting us a taxi. Our room overlooked Willis street which is quite busy and we weren't bothered due to the sound proofing on the windows. This should be used in more hotels as have paid more in other locations and not had...

We stayed here in Jan 16, I thought the hotels looks much older than the pictures, reception definitely needs a big refreshment done. You can see how old and worn out the waiting chairs look like, I would actually not sit on them - they looked unwashed for years... On a plus side, the price was below 150$, room was...

Great Hotel, great location, close to everything (Cuba St, Airport, etc.). Very professional and friendly staff. Great breakfast offer and Bar on site. Free Wi-Fi. Parking available but better to pre-book (only $15). Will stay again.

This is definitely a 3* hotel, just like a standard hotel room, tea and coffee available in the room but it was very basic and not much of a taste. The location is great, food venue/restaurant are everywhere, but if you have a car then expect to pay for the car park. The hotel has limited car park available so...

Requested carpark in my booking (a month previous) but never heard back. When I arrived ... all carparks booked. Carpark very, very small. Had to make a 12 point turn to squeeze into one temporarily. In the end, since it was the weekend it was safer and easier to park in the clearway on Willis Street outside the hotel. Had...

Hot with a lot of traffic noise in the room and a little bit out of the way. The room was small and stuffy. It's cheap but definitely can find better. On the plus side the staff were nice and helpful.
