Superior Room - probably superior to a backpacker hostel but not by much. Room facing afternoon sun and car partk. No air conditioning "you can open the window and there is a fan in the cupboard for guests to use!" (in an insulting and condescending tone of voice) Need to use two elevators to get to the room - probably...

Spent two nights at this hotel while on a short visit to Wellington on our way to the South Island. Room was on eight floor at the rear of the hotel meaning you had to take two lifts and walk through the bar area. Quite noisy during the night but otherwise the room was fine. Hotel is very handy for...

We stayed only one night here before flying home. The hotel is in a great location overlooking the harbor and within walking distance to just about everything (restaurants, shops, and the museum). We booked a Family Room which had a king bed in one room and then 2 twins in another room which was all one room but the bathroom...

Decent enough hotel on the shore of Wellington Bay. Rooms on level 7 are at the rear of the hotel and require a change of lift and a short stroll through the bar on level 6. The buffet breakfast was average and the service was indifferent but there's a very good breakfast cafe two doors down from the hotel. Room...

Arrived late. Left early to catch Interisland ferry. Rooms comfortable and presentable. Would have had a good view of the harbour apart from the rain and low cloud. Dinner pretty good and not too expensive

I stayed there for two nights only when visiting Wellington before taking a ferry to the South Island. Good location and generally not a bad hotel. Breakfast is ok, rooms are good enough for a few days. Unfortunately my wake up call was forgotten.

The hotel is situated in a good location, close to the bay, museum and downtown, but other than that had little going for it. The lounge, restaurant had a kind of Austin Powers feel to it, as if you just travelled time back to the 70's. Stupid expensive, even for NZ standards...I had a pint of ale (less than a...

To be fair, the millenium hotel groups hotels can be a mixed bunch... this one is a goodie though. Great, helpful staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms with space to work and relax. Very hospitable bar and restaurant area - and a pool to enjoy too - all right in Central Wellington. Will def stay here again. Only criticism - wow...

Hear the waves from your room. Admire the beauty of Oriental Bay and Wellington harbour from your own private balcony. A short walk West to the museum and other harbour attractions. A short walk South to nice food places at Courtenay Street. A short drive to Victoria Peak and the airport. Our home away from home in the capital.

The hotel was clean comfortable and staff polite. The reason for writing review is to let people know you have to pay for wi-fi although you can get it for free in the city or McDonald's.The parking costs $30 per night or you can park on a meter opposite hotel for $15 a day as long as you are prepared to...
