Relaxing, well appointed and spacious with very friendly hosts. Will stay here again sometime. Felt very private yet close to Wellington city. Delicious breakfast and home cooking. Sunny and private courtyard was the perfect place for a lazy start to the day.

Emily and Tim are so welcoming and helpful and hospitable. The accommodations were terrific. Since this was toward the end of a 19 day journey through NZ, the washer and dryer in our suite were quite helpful. Both Emily and Tim have obviously thought of everything to make this a perfect place to say. We highly recommend Acorns. The location...

Room was a great size and breakfast components were supplied to the room fresh everyday including eggs, fresh fruit and yoghurt, home made granola and afresh loaf each day. Also tea, coffee, fresh milk and. The room was very comfortable and quiet so great for a good nights rest. Very close to the centre of Wellington so well located for...

Now, let's see, where do I start with my review? I will try to condense this experience into a few lines of text, being well aware of its inherent limitations. My girlfriend and I had the chance to stay at the Acorns on three different occasions during our recent journey around New Zealand and we always left it with a satisfied smile on our...

We recently enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at the Acorns. Our very attractive, quiet, modern, clean, comfortable studio room was accessed through its own private patio. It was equipped with basic kitchen amenities, a nice selection of reading materials, maps and other helpful items, lovely chocolate, and absolutely delicious fresh homemade goodies! Our host Emily warmly greeted us, showed...

Emily and Tim are very nice couple of host. We have a very comfortable and beautiful room, and the chocolate cookies are also wonderful. I have damaged my sunglasses during my stay in Wellington. Since I was out all the time for travelling around, I have no time to fix it. When I returned to Acorns, I found it has...

Although we were only able to stay 2 nights in Wellington, my wife and I were very pleased with Acorns B&B. The accommodation itself was very modern, well laid-out, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent (especially the fresh bread each morning!). Emily was extremely helpful in explaining things and answering questions, and there was a great deal of information about...

We stayed two nights at Acorns and our only regret was not staying longer! Emily + Tim are fantastic hosts. They were both very friendly and welcoming. They have created an incredibly comfortable little home away from home. Emily was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat and things to do! We stayed in the room with the courtyard...

We were warmly welcomed to the Pohutukawa room by Emily who gave us a good run down on the room and area. The breakfast supplied was a godsend as I was a bit under the weather so ate some of it for dinner. Yum!! The room is spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated and has a good heater in room...

We stayed at Acorns for only one night during our recent trip to Wellington. The accommodations were great - in a pleasant Wellington neighborhood, a tremendous amount of privacy for a bed and breakfast, well-appointed and clean with incredibly gracious hosts. We had only two disappointments - we didn't pick the room with the views of the bay and we...
