We stayed for 2 nights with Brad - an engaging and interesting host The property was nicely furnished and very clean The deck area gave great views of the city Breakfast was very good with home- made bread and eggs from Brad's chickens Don't let the distance from the centre of town put you off staying here

We stayed here for a night and it was great! Brad made us a perfect breakfast with eggs from his chicks in his garden and self made bread. Highly recommended! We recommend to stay a bit longer than just one night as the surrounding is also quite nice and there is a lot to explore.

I just had one night but what a great place to stay. Host was excellent and very welcoming. Breakfast was made that extra special with freshly home-made bread. Everything so clean and tidy, bedroom AAA+. Has a bit of a country feel as the backyard has animals even though in the city. Having fresh laid eggs for breakfast is another...

Brad is a wonderful host... the house is soooo clean (cleaner than my own house!)... the beds are really comfy... the view of Mount Taranaki from the terrace is incredible... and the breakfast... wow... the breakfast!! We stayed here on a one night stop in new plymouth and if we take anything away from the place it is that Havelock was a awesome place to stay with perfect hosts who will make sure you have everything you could need. Breakfast was unique (in a good way!) with home made bread and eggs (by chickens not hosts..)...

The hosts are wonderfully accomodating and inviting. Their home is beautiful, very clean, and the rooms are cozy with comfortable beds. For breakfast you have a variety of options, which include home-made bread and eggs from the owners' chicken (they also have three cats and two ducks). The living room and terracedeck offer spectacular views o Mount Taranaki, when she...

I had a really wonderful time staying at this B&B! The bed was so comfortable, there was good breakfast (Sausages, eggs, cereals), and you can have all the coffee, & tea all you want all day long! The wifi was also fast, and worked. The bathroom was sharing, but it still felt like your own bathroom as you could just...

Overlooking the Tasman Sea and Mount Taranaki from the open great hill of the terrace. Host of Smiley & Fujiko are very naturally and friendly. In the morning we start with freshly laid eggs from backyard chickens and home-made breads. Delicious air, breakfast, open, great scenery, always clean and no shortage equipment, above...
