We stayed for three nights with Trevor and Trinka at Tresco Rotorua, and it was a fantastic stay. The first thing to be said is the attentiveness of the hosts. Both Trevor and Trinka are fountains of wonderful knowledge on not only the Rotorua area, but the whole of the North Island. We spent countless hours with Trevor planning our...

We stayed here for 3 nights in room 7 which was separate from the main building. Very comfortable room with an ensuite and very handy for the on-site thermal pool which tried and enjoyed. The only criticism was the lack of storage space in the room as we had 3 suitcases for our 6-week New Zealand tour. (Lack of storage...

Sit down with Trevor and tell him what you want. Write it down and follow his instructions to the letter. It will save you a fortune and you will have a day to remember for the rest of your life. We recommend the hot keroscene spring and mud pool. The Tresco hospitality is fabulous. The genuine hot thermal bath is...

This place has it all: location near restaurants, shopping, etc; great hosts; interesting guests; thermal spa. The hosts Trevor and Trinka were very nice and helpful during our stay. The rooms were a little small, but well maintained.

Spending time at Tresco with Trevor and Trinka is a unique and rewarding experience. Trevor's knowledge and advice was invaluable. Trinka is a friendly hostess and cook. They always had time to share with their guests. Don't miss the hot pool!!

Trevor and Trinka were great hosts. The Tresco is a very nice little place near the heart of Rotorua. The best part about the stay was Trevor's advice on where we should go. He recommended Kerosene Creek (hot water creek) and another place where the hot water goes into the cold water (all geothermal). They also have a real mineral...

Trevor and Trinka are without a doubt, the best B&B hosts we have encountered. They were helpul and entertaining and the cleanliness and attention to detail was exceptional. Breakfast choices were extensive, tasty and well presented. Sharing the lounge room and dining facilities with other guests is always rewarding because it affords the opportunity to meet people from all over...

I stayed at Tresco for 2 nights with my parents. I was a little bit afraid to stay in B&B because my parents don't speak english. However, I was wrong when we came in the house. The house is so great as the price was cheap. It's warm and home feel. When we met Trevor and Trinka, they were warm...

Although the decor is not for the lover of minimalism (lots of decoration items around), the bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and the location very central to visit all the sights in Rotorua. I did have a car and appreciated the off-street parking. Quiet neighborhood. Nice hot geothermal pool onsite (no extra charge). Internet access 30 min. for...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tresco. Trevor and Trinka made us feel at home. Trevor made sure that we were conforatble at all times! We spent much longer at the breakfast table then planned enjoying the conversation and laughter! The experience was one I will not soon forget! I would love to return one day!
