I stayed here as part of the Contiki Big Tiki tour, and I shared a twin room. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms felt better than 3 star accommodation! The free wifi connection is the best out of everywhere we've stayed in New Zealand - it was the only place I could stream TV! The hotel is located...

This was a return visit after a previous stay 5 yrs ago. This time it was disappointing to say the least. Our room did not have aircon and it was stifling hot. It only had a slow fan to cool us down. Our room was not serviced despite opportunity and even a request to do so. I feel that the...

We stayed as part of a tour to new Zealand. Probably the worst of the hotels we stayed in. The location is good but the rooms are compact. Breakfast buffet was okay but not as good as other hotels we stayed at. The smell of sulphur was quite strong during the night but that because of the area we stayed...

stayed 2 nights, if i had been aware of the how bad the smell is in rotorua i never would have stayed - not that this is anything hotel can sort! reception nice bright and airy, rooms are a let down, looked like they were stuck in the 70's, really in need of a revamp, rooms look very tired/dated and...

On arrival the reception, bar and restaurant areas are bright and welcoming. The downside is when you have to hump your cases up steps and then into a cranky old lift. The corridors are in need of decoration and are festooned with grotty net type curtains which due to the colour seem grubby. The room was also tired, it was...

We arrived at the Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua in the rain and was checked in quickly. We booked a superior room, which we thought would be better than the standard rooms. The room was quite dull and drab and the bathroom felt dirty. They have a notice up advising that the fixtures may look dirty due to the water in...

Sitting in our stuffy, hot, dated room right now on our first day here.. looking at moving to another hotel, for what we paid there are MUCH better options around. Our room feels like a bloody jail cell with a bed and TV in it, after 2 weeks traveling around NZ, this is the worst yet sadly. There is a...

Lake front, great facilities, helpful staff, easy access.. At that time, me and my companion were so packed with activities outside that we literally just used the hotel to sleep at night. I should have added 1 more day to enjoy the hotel facilities and the lake on a daytime :( our room did not have a view (or rather:...

We booked 3 weeks in advance but upon arrival they couldn't find our booking. Eventually they found us but i am sure the room they gave us was not Superior as was requested. The Hangi Feast and entertainment well worth the money. Location was within walking distance to all amenities
