No view, no sun, no elevator, very slow internet. Lousy. Rest is OK, but not more than that. Very average. Pity. Hotel is near town center. Restaurants on walking distance. If you do not like the smelly of sulfur; do not go to Rotorura anyway.

Stayed here for 1 night with my partner and unfortunately we both woke up with very sore necks from the pillows. The Staff are quite friendly and were able to assist when our toilet would not flush for some reason. The breakfast buffet was superb and chef very accommodating.

We came on our honeymoon for 2 days it was nice but not fabulous the thing that blew us away was the food absolutely amazing. The room was clean but small the bath room was very small not what I was expecting, for large people it was hard to share a shower. but I guess its what we paid for... More

The hotel is located close to the lake, restaurants, shops and even a grocery store. The rooms are spread out and there are really no connecting corridors from one wing to another. So getting to the bar and restaurant from your room is a bit challenging especially when it is raining hard. The hotel provided a staff carrying a big... More

Well located, and is close to the city centre and geothermic locations. The rooms were decent and provided the basics as far as tea and coffee making facilities, tv, iron, toiletries etc. The only criticisms would be the unreliable internet, and one receptionist who seemed unhappy and uninterested about our choice to research other Maori experiences rather than the one... Rooms I think varys from the building you are allocated. Staff are very very friendly. I believe sometime an independent hotel offer more intimacy than a larger chain of hotel. Room is big with two Queen size bed. . Toilet is clean, shower with bathtub. The hotel offer three restaurants . Dinner is well timed for big group, very well... More

All staff of the hotel is helpful, nice and patient. Very appreciated. The location of the hotel is just perfect, next to Lake Rotorua and very near to the famous SPA and museum. The room is clean and comfortable.

Staff are friendly and helpful, hotel is situated approximately 15 - 20 mins walk to Tutanekai Street also known as EAT Street where most of the restaurants are situated although there is a very good Italian restaurant only 5 mins walk away on Fenton Street called " Ciccio " . Food was excellent and service great plus prices reasonable. Room... More

Location is the only thing going for this minimalist dormitory. It's a $120 a night place that you pay $220 a night for because it's near spa. And the Internet/WiFi is horrendous. They could at least get that right. Overall not impressed.

The location is close to the lake and Polynesian Spa. Otherwise it was fairly comfortable, but rather dated and impersonal. The rooms are rather dated and decorated in varying shades of beige. There was a distinct lack of power points, though the bed was comfortable and the bathroom functional. Considering the dampness of Rotorua there was nowhere to hang up... More
