Maureen Hunt to the hostess with the mostess!! The accommodations are quiet, friendly and her wonderful breakfast will start your day out perfectly! The view of Rotorua is awesome! Want to know about the area or what to do -- ask Maureen! She is simply a lovely lady! Over the years, every time we go to Rotorua we stay at...

The proprietor was extremely helpful and shared her valuable insight with us in the area. She flexed to our schedule for breakfast and provided a very comfortable and quiet stay. I recommend this place for those that need a quiet place to stay that is something less informal than a conventional hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Maureen. She is a savvy, witty gal and so helpful as we considered our sight seeing plans. Our room was well appointed with a wonderful overview of the city and lake. Just a short jaunt into town. Would highly recommend.

I was created by Maureen on arrival with fresh tea and a welcoming smile. The accommodation is comfy and clean at a great price. The views from the room are unbeatable with rolling hills looking out to the lake and cows as neighbours. Great if you want a quiet stay out of the hustle and bustle and tourists in town....

We stayed with Sonja, Dave, Lily and Emma for 2 nights and enjoyed their welcoming home as rain "dampened" some of our plans. Sonja and Dave's hospitality brought sunshine to our stay. They were full of alternative ideas for activities to do in the area. It was like being in your own home with friends chatting in the afternoon. We...

We were shown to our room which was lovely, with amazing views from our tv area over the lake and town below. Sonya and Dave suggested...

The house is beautifully designed, inviting and very comfortable and the property is stunning. We stayed for a night here in June, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. ( once we found ourselves at the right house!! ) Maureen was just so welcoming and met our every need. Would happily stay again. The only thing we could say negatively was that we had to sleep in 2 single beds, ( we were unaware of this until...

A family home owned by the lovely Sonya, Dave and Lily overlooking Rotarua, we self drove and made a last minute booking online at their residence based on recommendations. This is a farm BNB and not a hotel so don't be too demanding and don't expect the world. It was a short drive from downtown Rotarua and maybe a little...

We stayed for four nights at Hunts Farm with Dave and Sonya and found it to be warm, inviting, cosy and comfortable. Delicious breakfast each morning with home grown and home made goodies. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly with local advice and making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
