We stayed 2 nights at Blossom cottage: 2 adults and 2 kids age 11 and 13. Everyone loved it! The rooms and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. 1 big bed in a room and 2 single in the other was perfect for a family of 4. Marianne obviously spent a lot of time thinking about what her guests may like... More

The hosts were very helpful and did everything they could to make us welcome. They arranged excursions for us and we enjoyed farm fresh food for breakfast. My daughter loved the farm animals and would spend a lot of time feeding the rabbits, donkeys and chickens. We felt very much at home and would definitely return to Blossum cottage.

We loved our stay here! Really nice cottage with clean rooms! The boys loved the toys that were available and the trampoline and of course the animals! There were also so many eggs we could collect everyday from the hens! We enjoyed feeding the animals every morning and there DVD selection. Great location and we would definitely want to come... Blossom Cottage is a wonderful place for family to stay. We had a warm welcome from Marianne and Rene at the gate; and their kindness and thoughtfulness continued during our four days there. The cottage is gorgeous and has everything you need including comfortable beds, warm fluffy blankets, games and toys for the children, and scrumptious home made food. The... More

We stayed here for two nights whilst travelling around North Island. Our stay here coincided with our 40th wedding anniversary and there was a small bottle of champagne waiting for us - a lovely touch Marianne! Thank you. The cottage is well sited with wonderful views, a great barbecue and large hot tub - perfect. Leisurely breakfasts including fresh eggs... More

Thank you for looking after us! We felt more than welcome here and our little boy loved meeting all the animals. We could have stayed a lot longer and it was a shame we only stayed one night. We made the most of it though, using the hot tub and feeding all the animals! I thoroughly recommend this place!

My partner and I stayed at Blossom Cottage for 1 night in February to celebrate my birthday. We found Rene and Marianne to be extremely friendly and accommodating. We are both vegan, and were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in to find a little home baked vegan friendly chocolate cake! Such a nice touch, and it didn't stop there.... More

This cottage is a paradise for families with small kids. The cottage is small but everything has some personal touch and fresh eggs, milk and occasionally cake from your host make you feel like at home. The kids can enjoy greenery, play with animals and feed them. You can find all kinds of toys, books, movies, which is good just... More

Wonderful cottage set in a beautiful rural location about 20 minutes drive from Roturua. This cottage ticks all the boxes and would be perfect for a romantic trip or a get away for a family (which was the case for us). The hosts have clearly thought about everything. The attention to detail is unbelievable, with notes every where to make... More
