What can I say about this beatutiful place that hasn't already been said. Stayed here in Janaury for 2 nights, wish it could have been more. Just loved Angie and Leigh who were so helpful and made us feel so welcome. They even entertained my sister and brother-in-law who had to stay in alternative accommodation as City Lights were fully...

City lights what can we say AMAZING from the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. My husband hurt his back a couple of days before and Angie our host made him an appointment in Rotorua to visit an osteopath which was very kind kind of her. We stayed in the apartment which was so perfect, spotlessly clean and everything...

Great location overlooking the city and geysers.Angie and Leigh were the perfect hosts...so much so Leigh offered to cook us some green lipped mussels one evening. It turned out to be a wonderful evening outdoors supping wine and eating mussels(except Angie who didn't like them!). A beautiful house with lovely views over the town and countryside. Well appointed bedrooms and house. Unusually comprehensive instructions for use of the room and costs of damage and late check out etc which we did not encounter in any of the other 18 places we stayed in NZ. Very precise on the contintental breakfast timings so an alarm clock...

This idyllic hideaway is a definite must for visitors to Rotorua. Hidden high above the city, with superb views and the warmest of welcomes, City Lights was a highlight of our holiday. We felt welcome from the minute we arrived and tearful when we left. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the breakfasts delicious, with homemade...

On arrival we felt very welcome. The view from up here over Rotorua is amazing. At 4 minutes drive from town centre you’re in the peace and quiet of this B&B and enjoying the views from the garden terrace. The Kea room is a bit small and the storage space is limited. The room has no airco but is comfy...
