We stayed here for 2 nights and we loved this place! Our room is located on the corner of the second floor, where we can have the perfect view of the park and Rotorua Lake from our bedroom. The rooms are very cozy and we felt at home. It is really close to Food Street where you can find numerous... More

Homely motel just over the road from the Lake and all the attractions. The units are very warm as they are thermally heated. A bit dated but worth it for the view and top units have a balcony and you can sit on the balcony and watch the sea planes and helicopters take off just over the road. Great Market... More

We visited Ledwich Lodge - stayed for 2 nights. Whilst comfortable - it is in need of an upgrade. Quite old and basic and overpriced for what you get. Location is OK - walking distance to restaurants - bars - shops. Wouldn't stay there again.

If you're looking for a fancy room, don't choose this place. It is in a nice location though, right by the waterfront, food, and shops. It looks a bit old school in the rooms, they should think about renovating the place.

We stayed for three nights in a large family room over the Waitangi Day long weekend. The owners were helpful. The free wifi internet was good. This was useful as we were trying to plan our activities for the next day. Although the rooms are in need of renovation, they were very clean and had all the necessary kitchen utensils... More

We visited during the height of the season and although clean, tidy central to downtown eateries we certainly found Ledwich well in need of renovation. The unit was extremely hot and all four of us couldn't sleep too well. My husband and daughter did enjoy the pool but overall we certainly would never stay again.

we visited with our three teenagers. There was enough room and the kitchen was just right. Not fancy but clean and in the right spot. Internet is only free for an hour or two. We crossed the street to a giant lakeside park.

We stayed for one night in a spacious ground floor studio. It's a little bit old fashioned but it was clean and there was plenty of hot water from the thermal heating. The room had a small seating area and a big modern TV with lots of channels. Tea & coffee was also provided. The host was helpful and friendly... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights, found the place to be quiet old and dated. Bed was clean and comfy, however found the amount of cockroaches too much. When mentioned this to the host, he said that had just been fumigated few days before, so I don't know, but for the price, wasn't too thrilled. However, the location... More

The motel is in a great location, close to restaurants and Rotorua's many interesting sights. The rooms are not large but adequate and clean. It was, therefore, a pity that the "host" turned out to be a Basil Fawlty character who, despite the fact that free wifi was available, decided that he would limit its use for his guests for...
