"We had the most wonderful time at the Redwoods B&B. Vivien went over and above to ensure we were comfortable and made the most of our time in Rotorua, she even went as far as showing us a few of the city attractions herself! The breakfast was delicious and the house comfortable, clean, and quiet; the perfect recipe for a...

Great location right by the redwoods park and on the road to the small lakes, yet not far from downtown. Vivian was friendly, full of information, and helpful with suggestions and bookings. Comfortable room with a private terrace. A great value.

We arrived January 1 which was a challenge for finding restaurant facilities even downtown Rotorua. Vivien gave us a warm welcome and introduced us to the bigger Rotorua area. Her entertainment and stories were lovely. Room and bathroom are excellent with a nice terras to sit outside and enjoy the view. Johan and Lieve

We have just returned from the trip of a life time to New Zealand and one of our high lights was staying with Vivien at her beautiful B&B in Rotarua. The accomodation is beautiful and spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was lovely to sit out on the deck amongst trees and ferns. Vivien cooked a lovely breakfast and...

We spent four nights at the Redwoods, with two couples. Vivien, our hostess, was incredible! From helping us get a box to ship our purchases home, to making reservations (with discount coupons!), to local knowledge, she was superb. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The "common area" was equally well appointed, and worked out very well as we "had...

We stayed here in March 2014. What a fantastic stay, it was a home away from home. We were a family of four adults so we had booked both bedrooms, both ensuite rooms. When we arrived Vivienne welcomed us with a home made cake and a cup of tea. She then showed us to our very lovely rooms. Each morning...

Many thanks to Vivienne for making us most welcome at their bed and breakfast accommodation. Her home cooking was delicious and the information she gave us on the local attractions was first class. The location is idea for visiting the Redwood forest which had several different length walks

Spent four nights at the Redwoods (Two couples). Vivien welcomed us warmly with tea and pastries. She was a wealth of information about local facilities and activities and was very helpful in making reservations for restaurants and activities. Also very accurately recommended scenic drives. The setting is very quiet yet only five minutes from Rotorua center by car. Breakfast was...

Lovely B&B with separate guest entrance. Nice room with double bed, although not too large, but surely large enough with beautiful patio. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room or fridge, but in de shared guest living room/breakfast room. Close to the redwoods, and a short drive to town center. The best feature of this B&B is Vivian, she is...

Our two nights at The Redwoods provided us with a pleasant stay and a great location for exploring the Roturua area. Even though the B&B is located less than a mile from one of the main roads through Roturua, we did not appreciate any "road noise" overnight during our stay. Vivien has a wealth of knowledge concerning the Rotorua area...
