Great place to stay at.. Loved the peace and quiet. Rooms were satisfactory to stay in. On a humid day, it would be nice to have A/C. Great view of the Haruru Falls Too bad café area was under construction during our stay. Overall, loved it. First time experience.

We stayed here for just one night, thankfully, we were in a campervan so didn't have to use the facilities more than once. The website doesn't mention that the restaurant is not open, this meant us having to nip down to the countdown supermarket to have dinner that night. Toilets and showers are dirty. Rubbish bins were overflowing. This is...

The business is in new ownership, the camp toilets/kitchen is being cleaned 3 times a day, please come back another time to see for yourself

A wonderful location let down by sub-standard accommodation. The room smelt musty and the decor looked very tired. The advertised restaurant did not exist "because we've sold up and are leaving". We stayed two nights (on a prior booking) and the room was not serviced. One can only hope that the new proprietors will take their obligations more seriously.

Awesome spot. Very relaxing (when dog not barking). The only thing that let's this accommodation down is no information book in room about the resort and not all that clean. Tea towels gross. Pool a little cloudy also.

We have stayed in many North Island campgrounds over the years and this was by far the most expensive and disappointing. Our arrival was greeted by a harried owner who told us camp rules and slapped wristbands on us, our car was then shunted around the site due to crammed in campers. Kitchen and toilet block facilities were shocking; always...

It's a shame, because it is a amaing location, but I would never stay here again, nor recommend this place to anyone. Camp sites were ok, but the facilities like the pool and bbq area were old and tired. The bathrooms were disgusting! The same bar of soap was left on the floor in the shower for the three days...

I was really disappointed. We showed up on new years eve with high expectations paying $340 per night and staying for 3 nights staying in a premium room for my family. I was my first Christmas/New Years holiday in nearly 10 years cause im normally working so thought i would treat the family. We showed up to no running water...

Booked in here as I was spending a few days with my sister who is in a stroke rehabilitation unit nearby. I chose this place as it had a restaurant, it was very handy to where my sister was, and it had a pool. I called the day prior to my arrival to book and sought confirmation that the restaurant...

Don't stay here if you think you are getting '4 star resort accomodation' for $350 a night. We stayed in their top advertised room only to come out extremely disappointed. Wifi is misleading - only 20 mins per person with very limited access (couldn't even use it from our room). Bathroom floor was always wet from leaks in the shower....

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! When i booked the cottage I was excited to arrive but that excitement soon disappeared when we were shown our room and the facility blocks. The cottage was so dirty that we didn't even want to put our bags down and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. When we arrived we were told rules that weren't on...
