We were greeted warmly and made to feel very welcome. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Only a short walk to the main shopping strip, restaurants and pier. We had a medical issue during our stay and the staff were fantastic and provided information about doctors and hospitals in the region and checked if we had available transport...

Booked in here for a last minute trip to Paihia. We checked in and we realised our room was in a high foot traffic area of the hotel, went back down to reception to ask if it was possible to move rooms and the lovely receptionist bent over backwards and managed to get us another room. Not only that but...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour of the North Island. The good - well located, good staff and large rooms. The bad - top floor room was very hot, no air-conditioning (unfortunately a common feature in NZ) made it hard to sleep, and the bathroom needed refurbishment. And the ugly - our bed was not...

Great hotel with friendly staff close to the centre of Paihia. inexpensive for the quality and size of the rooms. When we had issues with the lock on our door, staff were very prompt in assisting us. Would definitely stay there again. Spectacular area

The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean, however our room wasn't made up and as the employee walked past she just offered to swap our towels. The in room booklet states breakfast finished at 9:30, however when I went down at 9:10 they said it closed at 9. He still let me in but made me feel as though...

Hubby and I came up and stayed in October and though I was a little disappointed in other ways (paid for the Dolphin boat ride and didn't see ANY dolphins, think they were hiding!) we experienced great customer service in the hotel. The first night I wasn't too impressed as I went to have a shower at 10.30pm the whole...

My friends and I spent a few nights recently at this hotel. The location is great, the food was too! We were greated by a lovely young Indian man at the reception who appeared to be also working in the bar and restaurant. What a gem! :) all and all a great stay. We also enjoyed the use of the...

Very reasonably priced. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Very easy walk to Paihia shops. Spa pool was a bit dirty, swimming pool looked nice but weather wasn't hot enough for swimming. Not the flashest of hotels but was clean and very reasonably priced.

The room was very small with a damp musty smell and there was a lot of rubbish outside the bathroom window. We booked for two nights expecting the restaurant to be open as it was November however were told when we got there that it was closed for both nights, when we questioned this we were told they only cater...

Brilliant service, kind staff, let us take the chess set up to our room after the hotel was closing, a lovely warm spa, cold pool but no problem to us. Comfortable beds, noisy heater, and uncles able shower door, but just put some towels on the ground and that problem is solved. Short walk to the beach, short walk to...
