How to describe Anchor House in one word? -Fantastic! Beautifully located, stunning views with clean and cosy accommodation. Hosts were phenomenal, welcoming and incredibly friendly. I had originally planned to visit Paihai with my cousin but unfortunately his plans changed and he flew home early. I dealt mainly with Elaine who was so lovely and caring. She was extremely helpful...

This B & B was recommended to us by some other travellers. It's has a lovely lookout to the ocean and is equipped with all you need. Hosts are lovely and welcoming and provide a continental style breakfast in your room.

We had a great stay at the Anchor House made even better by the kindness of the hosts Elaine and Jim. The room was very comfortable and clean. The town of Paihia is a short walk away either along the road or along the beach when the tide is out. There is a lovely beach just across the road which...

Awesome little place! Definitely worth the few minutes drive from the main centre. We found Anchor House last minute before deciding to get away for a night and we were so glad we did - just wish the stay was longer! It's the cutest little spot with a great garden view (and a water view in the near distance). As...

What a fantastic spot! They are situated just over the hill (south) from Paihia town but close enough to walk 20 minutes or drive for 5 minutes into the city center. The hosts were lovely- always friendly and helpful. They have such a nice set up here with only three units and a beautiful garden overlooking the bay. It is...

We had a great stay in a purpose-built, well-run, clean property. The host and hostess went out of their way to make sure all was well. In addition, they provided us info on where to go and not to go, where to eat and not to eat, etc. The rooms come with refrigerator, microwave, electric skillet, hot-water jug, dishware, glassware,...
