Lovely hosts and convenient waterfront location. Very comfortable stay. We had free wifi, nice breakfast with yogurts and home made jams. Might be a little cosy during busier season but we had the place to ourselves for the weekend so really quiet

This is a very nice B&B located a short stroll from the heart of Napier and just across the street from the beach. Very nice owners. I stayed in the Turkish room which was well decorated and has a comfortable bed. That room has a beautiful en suite bath with a comically small shower. It's an old house with thin... More

My husband and I stayed at the Sea Breeze in March for two nights. We were warmly welcomed by Capher (pronounced Jaffeer) and shown to our room, the Turkish red room. As my husband is claustrophobic, this room was a little on the small size for his comfort, but he managed very well. It was my error in choosing this... More

We stayed in the Asian themed room with green walls and a gold ceiling. Leisurely breakfasts and late afternoons were spent in the guest area upstairs overlooking the sea. Interesting books to read about the earthquake and current architecture. Cafer was the perfect host; nothing was too much trouble, including doing our laundry. I still pine for his homemade muesli.... More

The owner was very welcoming after a long journey and he was very happy to advise us on where to go and good places to eat in, even lending us guide booklets. The three rooms are richly coloured in Chinese, Indian or Turkish style. Breakfast including home made muesli can be taken in your room or eaten in a enclosed... More

We were very late arriving at this B&B as we had run out of petrol driving from Whakatane to Napier, but we had managed to ask somebody to phone the hosts Cafer & Fiona so they knew we were still coming. We stayed here two nights and the hosts are lovely. Cafer had even parked his car out the front... More

Stayed here for two nights and can't say enough nice things about Sea Breeze. The rooms were well appointed and lovely. Included breakfast was plentiful with fruit, toast, yoghurt and cereals. As a guest there is also access to a sunroom with views of the sea. Location is walking distance to most city attractions.

A delightful early 20th century house on Marine Parade. Internal decor fabulous. Rooms very clean and well appointed. I thought breakfast a bit scarce. A poached egg would have been a welcome, perhaps we should have asked. Homemade muesli was pretty good though. Cafar was a great host and had a car park for us too. Thanks Fiona, Cafar and... More

This B&B features a fine location opposite the ocean, superb accommodations, immaculate amenities, attention to detail in the furnishings and decor, and hospitality galore from husband and wife host and hostess. My wife and I were truly impressed with everything. And because it wasn't a particularly busy weekend in Napier, we had the place to ourselves. Very quiet and relaxing!

Do stay here if you are visiting Napier. I know, you read about the YHA next door, no worries! Sea Breeze is very quiet at night with little to no sound pollution from next door and all of the guest rooms are set back from the street. Instead, there is a great little breakfast hall/lounge at the front of the... More
