We stayed at Quest Hotel for two nights as part of a three week fly drive in New Zealand. The hotel was satisfactory, room not oversized and a rudimentary air conditioning system with a pipe hanging out of the window. Good location near city centre, pleasant staff. No balcony and sited next to a pay and display car park which...

Our studio was very comfortable, spacious & well equipped. We only stayed for 2 nights so didn't use the cooking facilities, but were glad of the laundry facilities provided. Staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful with directions to places of interest. It is conveniently placed for walking around town exploring & there is a carpark just next door (4 dollars...

Stayed at Quest hotel 3 nights as part of group tour. The rooms were shabby. there is a portable air conditioner that is vented out window thus the window doesn't close. Hot air blows in the room. It was unbearably hot and the air conditioner loud. The food place in the room for a continental breakfast was awful and very...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel is central which makes it easy to walk around. One day it was 29 degrees and as we walked back to our room we said to each other how hot the room would probably be as there was only a ceiling fan. To our surprise...

We had a wonderful time here and we got a quiet room as requested so that was a big tick. The receptionist a Filipino guy, was really helpful as he actually showed us to the room and told us the facilities in there. Most impress with that as it's the first time ever the staff have some this. We will...

I normally reserve my reviews for good quality but I will make an exception. The service at front desk was good but the room was poor - no air conditioning (it was way too hot) meaning the ceiling fan which would only operate on "slow", moved the hot air around. The blinds did not fully cover the windows making it...

Firstly let me say the positives - the staff were really friendly and attentive, the apartments and building were clean - location is a good central location. This is an old building that has been turned into apartments, so they have to work with that to start with. We have stayed in several Quest Apartments in different cities in the...
