Excellent sea front hotel near the center of Napier - perfect base for tasting at the nearby vineyards, hiking in Te Mata Peak area, cycling the numerous bike paths, and admiring the art deco architecture.
Lovely location, right on the water, with an easy walk to the city centre. Our room was very much in need of renovation, with water-swollen cabinetry, split grouting etc in the bathroom, although it was very clean.
Staff were very professional and helpful.

Hi. not sure re bikes, but there is a bike hire shop a few hundred metres up the road. It's on marine parade, but I am unsure of its name.
Supermarkets, pak n save is the closest and less than 10 min walk.
