Good catering facilities, comfortable room, quiet, good location (?20 mins walk from the harbour front), milk provided. And it is good to know that being there helped support cancer sufferers and their families.

Stayed for one night while attending meeting at Auckland hospital. Rooms were adequate and clean. Very comfortable bed. Excellent location for my purpose and plenty of food outlets within walking distance. Good to be able to support its owners, the Cancer Foundation.

Turn up at 7.00am the hospital said. Right, that means accomodation would be needed in Auckland; a decent but basic motel, very close to the hospital. Domain Lodge fitted the bill perfectly. It is not luxury but Domain Lodge is not anywhere near the bottom end of the scale. It is clean, comfortable, well maintained and not seriously dated as...

We stayed two nights and it was good enough for that short time. The price is good for Auckland, although high for what you get - shared kitchen being the main one. The free car park is very secure, the staff are wonderful and friendly, the kitchen is ample and well equipped (although I was looking for some scissors and...

Great central location very near hospital, University, museum, park and near CBD. Quiet comfy clean room. Secure in-building parking included and I was allowed to leave car in parking for several hours on day of check out. Friendly helpful staff on reception.

Very good location for certain activities. Hospital/University right next door. This means good public transport (Inner Link bus) to downtown/Parnell/Ponsonby/Newmarket. Free parking is a bonus in any big city. There are no real restaurants nearby but lots of cheap fast foods (incl ethnic) eateries (student populations not far away). Access to motorway is nearby. Rooms are spacious and clean. Self...

What an amazing place to stay! I have stayed with family several times now and it is a favourite of ours. We went to the Christmas in the Park so this was directly opposite the Auckland Domain. The rooms are clean, tidy and have a homely feel. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade from a family studio to...

Walking distance to Museum, hospital, University, AUT etc, secure/free parking facilities - happy for car to be left there following day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Two computers available just off reception area (also internet free to use anywhere in building) Didn't hear any traffic noise. One of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in.

It's like an old peoples home. Incredibly dated decor, circa 1980 I know it's a cancer society property and its in a brilliant location for the hospital but it would benefit from an update. I hadnt seen a shower over a bath in years until I stayed here. It was nice and quiet and there are excellent communal kitchen facilities,...

Fabulous friendly staff, clean rooms, enjoyable stay😃 This accommodation often isn't available as the main purpose is to house people and their families receiving treatment for cancer. It's not advertised on booking sites but is situated opposite the Auckland Domain and opposite Auckland Hospital. It is quiet with beautiful grounds.
