What a great start to our month in New Zealand. Marlene gave us inside information for our excursion trips that made our journey more memorable. Loved the house and the neighborhood, a nice walk up to Mt Eden, slept great... and what a superb breakfast table to behold. We had a wonderful experience and hope to return.

Anthony, Marlene + others who helped AND Mr Darcy (dog) were the most gracious hosts. The Christmas decorations throughout the house added to the warm welcoming ambience. After enjoying breakfasts in B&Bs in several countries we both agreed the service and food here were exceptional! If we return to Auckland, we will rerun to This place. Thank you!

A warm welcome from Marlene (and Mr Darcy!); a very comfortable room and bed; the best breakfast I had in NZ; and a great location, within minutes walk of the airport bus and transport to Aucklant centre. Great. Thank you.

Marlene was a wonderful and helpful hostess. We had some good meals the rest of the day, but the best by far was the breakfast that she and Claudia put together for us. We enjoyed sharing it with guests from around the world. And the location can't be beat with easy access to the light rail and walking distance to...

A wonderful introduction to the friendliness of NZ people. Our hostess couldn't do enough for us and our breakfasts were simply delicious.Just a short walk to the famous Eden Park rugby ground and a 15 minute train ride into the Auckland city centre.
