This is a busy humming place very centrally located in Auckland City. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very basic but clean and perfectly adequate. It was great to be able to leave our bags with them when we booked out so we could explore more easily. Will definitely return

I've stayed at many hostels off and on in Auckland since I've been here and this one has a OK facilities. The kitchen is on the 7th floor and can get busy during the mornings since it serves everyone in the hostel it can get crowded at times. The first floor has a common area with a TV, spaces for...

First time being in Auckland and booked here for the one night before I started my tour with top deck the following day...I booked a private room, en suite, purely because I didn't arrive until midnight and wanted a good nights sleep (I'm usually all for the dorms) overall the location and staff were brilliant, the room is what you...

The only positive was rhe location. But very noisy with many nightclubs underneath open ftill early hours on weekend. Also the bedroom doors all slam so sleeping if not drunk was impossibls have never experienced such noise, when there are dorms it gets very noisy from 6 30am witb doors slamming, this is main reason i could not stay again....

Stayed here more than once on my trip around New Zealand. Mostly because of the convenience of the location. Its definitely not the worst place I've stayed but its definitely not the best either. Good social hostel depending on your room mates, the bathrooms are different on each floor some great some disgusting and old. The rooms are again dependent...

Myself and my fiancé have been staying at the Nomads for about 2 weeks whilst looking for work and a permanent place to sleep. From the moment that we enquired with Nomads, the staff (in particular Laura) have gone above and beyond for us. I've thrown some pretty complicated stuff her way and changed my reservation about 5 times but...

What more could we ask for with this place? We arrived pretty late, around 10.30 PM so check was pretty smooth. The lady at the counter was nice, and gave us the key to the room. The room itself is more than enough for a place to crash. We had a private room with twin bed, came with the ensuite...

I have stayed in a few nomads while I have been traveling around New Zealand and I usually much prefer them to Base, however this Nomads hostle is just rubbish. The staff were slow and rude and the rooms were very warm and the kitchen was a mess. The only positive thing to this hostle is its excellent location. Apart...
