Stayed here for one night as we were off to a concert at the Vectra Arena. Check-in was quick and easy and staff friendly. Free parking at the hotel which is great. Our room was tidy, with two queen beds which were comfortable. The only criticism is the shower/bath in the bathroom. It is quite a step up to get...

Good afternoon Nat A, Thank you for your recent feedback, It is always great to read positive comments in regards to our team. Our Restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We also have 24 hour Room Service which is very popular despite ease of access to local fast food options. If you are coming to Auckland in 2015...

There is no doubt that this hotel has a great location. Close to Vector Arena, the CBD, Kelly Tarltons and the inner city beaches. However, it is a very basic place. Very bouncy mattresses. Chipped glasses. No plates or cutlery. Actually the kitchen consists on the bar fridge and nothing else. The bathroom is the worst though. Toilet hardly flushed...

After I booked the hotel I read trip advisor reviews and got a little worried. The reviews were right the hotel is very dated and needs a complete overhaul. ( am usually very fussy and like at least four stars). It was however very clean, economical and a very handy location to Vector Arena. Staff were pleasant and able to...

Great location walking distance to the vector arena which is why we stayed here, also a cheap $12 taxi back from queen street. The staff where friendly and helpful, how ever there was building work being done in the room next door which we were not told about and was just a bit annoying. The beds where big and comfortable,...

Good afternoon Hanna C, Thank you for your recent feedback, We are very luck y with our location in regards to the CBD, Vector Arena and motorways etc. We have had a few comments in the past few days about comfortable beds which is pleasing. There should have been a hairdryer in your room, I shall be following this up....

I lived in Auckland for 10 years and so I know my way around the city pretty well. The hotel is in an excellent location, just across the road from the rose garden ( hardly surprising given the hotel's name ) and very handy to town. Plenty of free parking which is a huge plus in Auckland, but try to...

This hotel is just OKAY. It is clean and the staff were nice but the hotel is nothing pretty. It reminded me of a hospital with the old wired safety glass everywhere. There are no power points in the bathroom which is difficult for female travelers as the hair dryer supplied would find it hand to dry anything in a...

The breakfast is good, the room is cosy but the ants were everywhere and even entered into my laptop. The bus to the center is only here each hour and 5 times in the Sunday. There is no free WiFi and no sockets around the bed.

Good morning jujugulaire, Thank you for your honest feedback, The local bus timetables are set based on demand and we are approximately a 20 minute walk to downtown Auckland or a short taxi ride. We do off free WIFI in our lobby each day for 20 minutes which may or may not have been relayed to you during your stay....

This hotel has super location, not far from the CBD with harbour views, a terrific rose garden and pretty park just over the road, and a swimmable beach (Judge's Bay) and Parnell Pool in walking distance just down the hill. The rose garden is gorgeous in summer - in winter, of course, somewhat stark. It's also in one of Auckland's...

A great position opposite the Rose Gardens. The room allocated was in the Tudor block and although some refurbishment had been carried out it was not of a good standard.
