I stayed here by myself for a couple of nights. The location is very good if you want to be in the center of Auckland, close to the harbour and transport such as fairies, buses, trains and taxi. I stayed in a 8 bed dorm,...More
Good location but one of the poorer hostels I stayed at. Stayed here for one night and sank through the slats in the top bunk. Bathrooms were cramped and not particularly clean. Glad I am heading elsewhere when I return to Auckland
To say that I hated it here would be an understatement.
I arrived very early and was given a key to my room but had to store my luggage and come back later, so I spent the entire day walking around the city. When I...More

As Manon mentioned there is a free day storage for backpackers which is used generally for people checking out and wanting to leave their belongings for the day, or checking in and waiting to go into the rooms at 2pm. You can also leave valuables behind reception in safe which is manned 24 hours per day. In the rooms themselves, the premium dorm rooms have lockers in them, you would need to have your own padlock for them though.
