Nothing like the pictures advertised! Dirty carpet, kitchen and bathroom. Stickers on the walls, mould in the bathroom and shower, ripped furniture, curtains and ironing board.... Location is great for being really close to town but the area is a bit rough in the evenings and it's a dim back street. I checked in and checked out within minutes as...

I booked a business trip for four nights at the Quest on Eden. The rooms looked quite good on their web site and it it harbour view rooms. I had stayed at several Quest apartments before and found them good value for money.... Until this one. The reception desk was very dingy, just a hole in the wall. That was...

I spent 5 nights recently at Quest on Eden whilst on business in Auckland. Located in a quiet crescent about a 10 minute walk from Aucklans central, it's an older style building with quite attractive wood panelling in the small reception area. A clunky old (but charming) lift takes you up to the small self-contained suites. The rooms themselves are...

These apartments are in a great location in down town Auckland, just a few blocks from Queen Street and the the vibrant Britomart. But these apartments are very dated and quite pricey for the condition they are in.

I stayed one night. The booking and payment on line was fine. Apartment small but had everything you need and more - when you're only there one night. Comfortable bed - good shower. Just 10 minutes walk from Queen Street - but you do have a hill to climb!! Reasonably priced. I would stay again and recommend to my friends

Great location to City and Vector Arena. We had a studio on the 7th floor with a balcony and a harbour view. Plus full kitchen (no coffee plunger), laundry and a very comfortable bed. There is a small superette next door for any supplies. Would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Handy to airport bus drop-off on Queen Street, handy to Vector Arena, 5-6 minute walk. Room spotlessly clean and comfortable. Quiet room looking down on Vector Arena & port area. Handy to cafe's and dining, easy walking into city and waterfront, very central. Self catering kitchen if desired.

An older Quest facility with excellent service. The rooms are clean, but tired and in need of some maintenance. While my room was located a few floors up, the windows and doors to the balcony did not shut properly, so couldn't be locked. The bathroom is spacious but very old. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

We visit Auckland at least twice a year, and for the last few years, this is the place we look to stay first. The rooms are clean and well equiped, the washing machine and drier have been useful on a couple of occasions, the beds comfortable, a kitchenette means you can feed yourself cheaply if you don't want to eat...
