My husband and I found this lovely place on the Google maps. We were feeling really distressed at having to leave our son in hospital and needed to find somewhere to stay at short notice and near the hospital. Bart was so understanding and made us feel so looked after. We stayed for 3 nights (July 7, 8, 9, 2013) the...

As frequent visitors to Auckland, we were delighted to experience the wonderful hosting and facilities at Ascot Parnell. Bart & Therese were kind and generous hosts and the facilities were excellent, including the breakfast. The location was terrific, with an easy walk into Parnell and all the shops and restaurants. We loved it!

Dear B & C, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Bart and I really enjoyed your company and catching up on all the news. Great to read that you still enjoy our wonderful part of Auckland Parnell. We hope to visit you in Akaroa one of these days ! Take care. Love from the...

This was our first visit to New Zealand and given our unfamiliarity with the area we thought it best to avoid driving when we first arrived. How lucky we were to come across Ascot Parnell. We decided to use Bart’s “meet and greet” airport pick up service and it was a great decision! It was reassuring to have Bart immediately...

Bart and Teresa were the ultimate hosts. Showing us their magnificent 'gaff' in the heart of Parnell, tucked behind the church that dominates the village. Scrupulously clean, despite the two most wonderful four legged creatures, trying to derail their efforts. Ascot Parnell Boutique B&B is just that, bed and breakfast - with the splendour of the surroundings, hosts, decor, passion,...

This was such a lovely experience. The accomodation was great and Bart, the owner, was gracious and attentive to details. Breakfast was wonderful! It's a short walk to the main street in Parnell with wonderful restaurants, near the Auckland Museum (which has an amazing Maori exhibition) and buses that can take you all over the city easily. I'll certainly stay...

Therese and Bart are wonderful, warm, very accomodating hosts. They collect you from the airport on arrival. It's only about 30-40 minutes from the airport to the B&B located in a very nice part of Auckland with plenty of places to walk to while recovering from jet lag. We had the garden view room, very comfortable, immaculately clean, nice views....

Every year we enjoy the tranquility of this place, but also the near to the City Center and Harbour by bus. Therese & Bart offer excellent accomondations with high standard, matched with great hospitality, a very warm welcome and a gourmet-breakfast. In all the years we felt us so at home during our stays in this sanctuary.

We were recommended to stay at the Ascot Parnell by some very travel-savvy friends, and boy were they right! From the moment Bart picked us up at the airport we felt like family. We were warmly greeted and cared for throughout our stay. The room was quite, comfortable, and incredibly clean, and the shared sitting room and balcony with a...
