We selected this hotel for its location and were not disappointed. The room itself was fine, but a bit dated. The staff was very good. We had a light dinner at the restaurant one evening after a long day, and the staff there was excellent.

I stayed here for 2 nights for a quick trip to Auckland. It was close to everything. The room a one bedroom suite (2009), was well appointed and comfortable. Staff were lovely and friendly, the hotel was spotless and I would certainly return.

We hosted an event in the Phoenix room and were pleased with the room and service. Staff were ready to help and very accommodating to what we needed. Everything was exactly as expected, no hidden surprises on the day which meant our event ran smoothly.

It's free up to a daily limit, after which you pay. We downloaded a few films and a TV series for our onward travel, that took us over the free limit. I'd say for day to day use you'll not pay anything.
