Stayed here for 2 nights while in auckland, travelling through NZ on our honeymoon. Centrally located at the top of Queen Strait. Older hotel but clean and staff are friendly. Ask for room at back of hotel, ours was at the front and Queen St. Can be very noisy! Shuttle bus from airport also stops right outside so dont waste...

Scenic Hotel is a great location, right on Queen Street. Close to Aotea Centre, Town Hall, Imax centre for entertainment and right int the hub of shopping. We had a superior room which was spacious and comfortable, the bedroom/bed was to die for. The disappointing factor was no TV in the room to watch movies and the TV in the...

The hotel is clean and in a great location, so I would recommend it! It was a little small and older, but staff was friendly. Despite being in a central location, we didn't hear any noise at night. The cafe was decent but wasn't good for my mom's gluten allergy, since she got sick both meals.

Excellent place to stay. Walking distance to most transport and right in the middle of town and shopping. Staff are very friendly but some lanuages could be a barrier. Breakfast i really enjoyed in the restaurant downstairs out the front of Queen street side. The food was brought out in good time and totally presented and cooked beautifully. Some of...

This was our second time staying at The Scenic. It is the perfect place to stay for business or pleasure in Auckland. The staff are friendly and accomodating and the room was clean and well appointed. The price is right and the central location makes getting around easy. We highly recommend The Scenic.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting family in the region. The hotel is fairly dated, however the rooms are clean and of a decent size with a very large shower. Perfect location, right on the edge of the main part of town and Seymour Square. Very little noise from outside the room. I had booked a Superior King room...

This is an older dated hotel, right in the central CBD of Auckland. We arrived late due to flight delays and had a few language problems with the desk including being given the wrong wi fi password. The room was fine nothing outstanding but certainly the Beds were a stand out delight. We thought we were sleeping on a cloud....

My room at the Scenic was like a home away from home and I really appreciated the fantastic room service. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities met my needs. Although situated centrally, there was very little noise.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Nothing special but the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the staff were all friendly. Basic cooking facilities in the room were good, but we also ate at the restaurant 1 night and that was fine. If you're looking for a cheap and functional base to explore Auckland, would recommend, but if you're after...

Even though the outside of this place is under repair and the reception area small, don't be put off. Situated at the top of Queen and convenient for shopping, dining and entertainment, this is a nice hotel. It's not 5* luxury, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped and ours had a separate bedroom...

The Skybus service is the best way transfer to or from our hotel, it’s right outside and very frequent 24/7 There is also a really frequent inner city bus service that stops directly outside for just a $1. It does a loop of the city, K’rd and waterfront, a great option for budget sightseeing and you will get a feel...
