If you are planning a cruise and desire the easiest way to depart or arrive- this hotel is your best choice. You can literally throw your bags from ship to hotel. Staff was great and the location to everything in Auckland was fantastic.

Well where do I start - the pool had rubbish and empty cans floating in it, the rooms were old and worn down and not very clean at all! There was a pillar smack in the middle of the room where you would sit on the couch to watch the tv - so instead of seeing the tv - you...

Great location - we didn't realize how close this was to the cruise ship docking - pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to call a taxi for all our luggage. We were able to leave our luggage while we spent the day exploring. Once we were able to check in, our room had a with large balcony and view of...

A great place to stay if you are arriving from or departing to a cruise ship. Good area and the hotel was great. Great staff and facility. Good place for dinner. You are in easy walking distance to many other restaurants.

Perhaps this hotel was considered a premier destination in the 90s but it really needs to be modernised. Compared to other hotels in the world this is probably at most, a 3 star. Our first room that was given to us when we arrived at 11pm at night was a standard room without a bathtub and what looked like a...

We arrived on a cruise ship, picked up our luggage, and walked to the hotel in less than 5 minutes. We enjoyed a harbor view room (the view was blocked until the cruise ship sailed), with a nice patio. The service was perfect, the room clean, cool, and dark at night. It is a short walk to the harbor area...

This very expensive hotel has all the excellent facilities you would expect of a Hilton in a major city, but its point of difference is the to-die-for views across Auckland harbour. Make sure you reserve a water view room, though! Watching cruise liners, ferries and pleasure boats from your balcony is a real pleasure. The hotel is beautifully appointed and...

Hilton's vary a lot, and I've stayed in one or two fairly disastrous ones, but this one conveniently placed on Princes Wharf in central Auckland isn't one of them.
