Basic accommodation as expected in a youth hostel. Management are friendly. Unfortunately it is right next to a very noisy train track. Trains run all night and sleep is impossible. Maybe when booking ask for a room on the side away from the tracks.

My room was right next to the railway line and the train is extremely loud when trying to sleep (it goes until around after 2am and starts again in the morning at around 5am). There wasn't much atmosphere when I was there - noone was really interacting with anyone else or seemed to want to. It would be good to...

Really friendly staff, sorted us out a family room instead of a dorm for 4 of us. Super clean rooms as were the bathrooms and kitchens. Small gym for a quick workout. Only stayed one night but would go back not the cheapest at $30 a night each for a dorm room but 5 min walk to town and train...

Stayed here 6 years ago and it's still fantastic! Clean kitchen, bathrooms. Every time I've had a form here I was he only one in the room. Had a privet room too, which is wonderful. You get a TV and great heater. Excellent location, right near the shops, restaurants, waterfront and train station. I couldn't ask for more!

We stayed here for 5 nights whilst in Perth. Positives: Very good/central location - near to the train station and walkable distance to centre & Northbridge. Friendly helpful staff, clean and has good facilities, lockers available for a small fee. Negatives: The hostel is right next to the train station so if you are a light sleeper this maybe a...

This place is relatively expensive if you don't book this ahead via one of the places where you can book with discount. 36$ for a dorm bed per night. There are places for less with the same facilities or better. The rooms are simple but have lockers which is a good thing. They have a kitchen and a place to...

It's next to the train line so you can hear the trains, but it's nothing you can't sleep through, especially with ear plugs. It is a little bit further from the town centre, so you do have to walk about 5-10 mins or so (depending on your speed of course) and may not be ideal if you want to be...

It is clean, however I did not like that much. Too close to the train's track so it was noisy and I could not have a good night of sleeping. However is well located, near to train and bus station and to city centre.
