I drove 23 km down a sandy road to visit this caravan park on the advice of other people who had recommended it. I was not disappointed when I got there. I found a shady haven with spacious, well laid out powered & unpowered sites. It is located near a lagoon which is a mecca for fisherfolk. The park has...

Warm & friendly owners, amazing spot to go fishing & swimming! My partner and I camped at an unpowered site for 1 night on our way back from Broome, and we loved it! Lots of sandflies though, cover yourself in Bushman's repellent! But we were still so happy for the experience. Amazing fishing at the Lagoon, you park at the...

A great place if you are into fishing but not a lot to see if you are just touring. Sand flies are bad and you have to be inside at dawn/dusk and well covered in spray at other times. Park was clean and well run. ....................................,

Good bits Terrific lagoon for small boating. Caravan park is good. Ablution block clean. Plenty of shade. NOT so good.... The midges are a real problem. You must always have long shirts/pants on, always wear mossie protection and take the good advice of the people staying. You must be careful, these little (tiny) midges are able to inflict great discomfort....for...

If you have plenty of money and low expectations, this is the place for you, unless you are self sufficient. Stayed in a 'chalet' at a cost for one night for 2 adults of $220.00. Basically one big room with QS & 2 bunks. Kitchen is open shelving with a few utensils. Good TV, but, who cares in the bush...

Although not really as it looks in the brochures the park has some great features, especially if you are a fisherman. Tidal lagoons and access to the ocean is 700m down a sand road. The staff are fantastic and the Amenities are fantastic and very clean with basically your own personal bathroom size toilet and shower. We saw many native...

After staying at other station stays such as eighty mile and Pardoo with grassy sites, the red earth of port smith was a bit of a shock. However, the beautiful lagoon to swim in is a delight. If you have a boat, the fish, especially blue bone are plentiful with the lagoon, reefs all fishing well. The staff are very friendly,...
