Our stay at Cable Beach Caravan Park in early July was disappointing to say the least. Far too expensive for what we got; amenities inadequate and unclean; sites small and a ‘dust’ bowl; considerable walk to beach; noisy and overcrowded. I think Cable Beach management is selling the tourist short and cashing in on Broome’s climate.

We recently stayed here for 7 nights and found it great. We were lucky enough to have a fantastic site right near the playground and pool. The ablution block was clean and there was plenty of them, so there wasn't a time that a shower wasn't available to use. The service was excellent, and you always saw the friendly staff... More

We spent one night at the place after 2 weeks in the Kimberly. We only end up there as we wanted to have another day in Broome. This must be the busiest caravan park I ever been in and it looks like quite a few campers have been there for a very long time... not sure what's the deal. The... More

This was the place I was looking forward to staying! However I was extremely disappointed! The ammenities are 1 star quality!!! However if you're fussed about the ammenities then the location is great. Walking distance to Cable Beach. Due to peak season we were unable to book however it was not an issue to have a powered site when we... More

Tried to make a reservation, told they don't take bookings so should call back in the morning. Called in the morning told to call back at 10am. Called again, was advised they actually had a long wait list and wouldn't be taking more names. Then tried to book for later in the week, was advised I would have to ring... More

I was a bit anxious about being able to get a spot here because you can't book ahead for under 5 nights and we only wanted 3. We called 2 days ahead and were able to confirm a spot. It was peak season so I understood. It was hard to find info with no website. The park is pretty suburban... More

The location of this camping is amazing, it is only 5 minutes stroll from the famous Cable Beach and the wonderful thing is that you can hear the ocean while you sleep in the camp!! We have visited in July and the place was definitely crowded. But it is a high season. Everything was clean though. Enough toilets, and kitchen,... More

Excellent location, right near the beach. Staff are amazing, service with a smile and ready to help with good places to eat. Extremely crowded. Their Cafe serves the best real Coffee in Broom. At Sydney prices. Actually one of the best coffees we've had in WA so far.

With over 500 pitches, this is an effectively run campsite. Pitches are very close together and all are dusty. There is power and water to most sites, there is no WIFI out in the camp but it is available (quite fast) at a fee in the office area where there also is a café. The office staff are helpful and...
