Each room has a balcony. I stayed in a one bed appartment. Had a bath, shower, washing machine and dryer. It had a kitchen with cook top, kettle, microwave toaster. The lounge area was huge and there was a to in the lounge and another in the bedroom. The place is very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Oh...

Mila really looked after me during my stay at Adina. The air conditioner wasn't working in my room and Mila ensured I was promptly moved to another room. The service I received was first class and I really would like to commend her for her wonderful attitude towards her work. I made good use of the swimming pool and the...

Good staff, good apartment and facilities, perfect location. Maybe a tutorial on the use of the room technology would be useful ie sound system . Not that we were in the room a lot! On reflection there was one shortfall - no comfortable armchair or couch. The only armchair was not meant for relaxation! Overall a great place to stay,...

I got an upgrade from this hotel. It is just next to tram station. You can just jump on to any of the tram and change in flinders street station or take city circle. Then you don't have to walk more than one street distance to go to your visit point. And it is just 5 mins walk away from Southern...

Overall my stay was excellent. the location was within walking distance to the convention centre and transport. My only criticism would be that windows on the corner should be double glazed. I was on level 3 and could hear the trains throughout the night.

Very good, no frills stay, Staff were always courteous and helpful, and the rooms clean and airy. Parking could have been a bit better, but once I found it I was right. I'd recommend anyone needing inner city accommodation to try this hotel.

We recently went for the night into Melbourne and booked a mystery hotel with Wotif. We ended up at the Adina which was just gorgeous. The photos on the website were not great so I initially thought we would be disappointed but upon arrival, realized this was not the case. For under $300 we had a large 2 bedroom, 2...

This hotel is adjacent to one of the busiest train lines in Melbourne and the noise is very intrusive. The furniture in the rooms is very tired and overall the accomodation is overpriced for the standard provided. On the positive side the staff were very friendly and obliging.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
