Ozstays Apartments are well located for city life and being close to everything the city has to offer .Though the view from most rooms was not pleasant if your on floor 3 or below and facing sides of building and the rooms where not really as spacious as the pictures depict also our room had a bit of damage and...

The most important benefit of Ozstays is its location which is Melbourne CBD. You can reach to all important places with short walk or you can get proper conveyance easily as Melbourne Central, Parliament stations are few steps away. Apartments are nice and comfortable at Ozstays. Room service is good and staff is very friendly. Self Check in is possible...

The place was really worth the price. It was really small, the furniture were old and the saga had a hole... The toilet was very small and it wasn't very clean... The location was the only bright side of the place The rest it was just fine There is wifi that work pretty well

I have no regret staying at this Apartment. It is very spacious and comes with free laundry service and free detergent. However, no toiletries provided so make sure you bring your own. The best thing about this Apartment is the location. Tram station is just 2 mins walk away. The Central Station is within walk-able distance too about 8 mins...

The location is fabulous, seriously can't be faulted. Close to restaurants, supermarket, and all main streets. Two bedroom apartment fine for 3 people. We had no issues with cleanliness. We would have been very happy if the bed and couch were a bit more comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights but might consider staying again if it's only for 2...

We visited Melbourne over Easter holidays and choose to stay at Ozstay because of the location. The rooms are mouldy and the toilet is very small. It is almost impossible to use the little basin without splashing water on the floor. Staffs are really rude and it seems I wouldn't be getting my deposit back.

We had a two bedroom apartment for two couples, not a huge apartment by all means, but it is close and within walking distance to most restaurants and shopping centres. ( right next to Chinatown). If you want a five star hotel then this is not for you, it's a place to sleep and that's it. Our unit was small...

We stayed 3 nights in August 2014 with 3 Adults and 2 teenage children the positives were it was a great location, close to supermarket and Melbourne central for eating and shopping. It was also cheap for self contained accommodation. The negatives were it was dirty, the hallways stunk like a musty damp smell. The apartments themselves were dirty the...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
