This hotel is in an excellent location, only a couple minutes walk to Parliament train station and to the free trams that take you into the city centre. It is also very close to China Town. The room was extremely clean, bed was comfortable and the room also had a little kitchenette. The staff are very friendly and very helpful...

We stayed at City Limits during a long weekend visit to Melbourne. It proved to be an ideal location. From the exterior, the hotel appears old, but our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the daily room service was excellent. Good kitchenette facilities available with kettle, fridge and microwave. Complimentary continental breakfasts provided. Free wifi available for the duration of...

This is our second stay at City Limits and it is still great. We were there for 10 days and upon our arrival we were checked in by very attentive staff and were given a twin room on the 5th floor. The room was a good size, beds very comfortable, plenty of storage, bathroom was extremely clean and adequate and...

Easy place to find but the parking was difficult. We had a Navara 4WD on our way up the coast & found it very difficult to fit in the allocated park. You either have to park back before the hotel to be able to get into the park, or you have to take your chance & reverse back up the...

I didnt quite get a good experience from the start. Firstly, the receptionist charged me twice by mistake which was an inconvenient to me, however, she apologised and offered me a family room but again this was of no use as it was only my husband and I who was travelling. I asked to have a late check out instead...

We paid about 120€ for this apartment and it was a great choice. It's in china town, close to all the main attractions and a few steps away from the stop of the free tram. They say you have breakfast included but this means they just put some tea, coffe marmelade and cornflakes in your room. Only problem there is...

My teenage daughter and I stayed at City Limits on Friday 11/12. We found it easy to get to using public transport, and were impressed by the number of eateries surrounding its location. Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
