Horrible, drab, in need of some major renovations. Dirty, stained Sofas in Corridors and reception . Bed very hard, room the size of a Shoe Box. Really should drop the word "Boutique " from their name. Plus side : good location and pretty good Breakfast. Staff friendly. Will NOT stay there again though.

This is a dated hotel from which derives a certain charm. However, the electricity wiring needs an urgent update with wiring open and loose as well as an occasional power cut. Clean with adequate brekkie. Parking is a hassle. It is about 1.5 km from the center if town with a streetcar service at the end of the street. Situated...

We were 3 friends having a 'girls' few days and booked the Family Room which was adequate for our needs. One QS bed in the main room, a sofa bed in the ding/lounge/kitchen area and a sofa and trundle bed in the 'room' at entry with the bathroom and separate toilet to the side. The big fridge, microwave and jug...

We stayed here last summer while at the Aus Open tennis was on in Jan,2016. The bed was comfortable . The place is very tired and in need of an update. The breakfast was very poor . The fruit wasn't fresh , all out of a can. The mugs were chipped . I won't be going back .

We have now been 3 times to Magnolia Court because of its great location to the Australian Tennis Open. However, each time we continue to be disappointed. The property is not maintained, it is aging and deteriorating as time goes by. The rates are high for the quality of accommodation. We chose not to eat their breakfast, but rather enjoy...

I never even ended up staying here but yet still have been charged for a room! I booked a room for my stay back in November that I immediately rang up to change the date of. There were no rooms avaliable so i said i need to cancel it and i was assured this had been done. While over in...

Let's start with the name. The word 'boutique' suggests class, charm and quality, all of which were absent in our three day stay. A shame, because this was clearly once a charming old building in a pleasant part of the city. But it has been allowed by its owners to fall into a terrible condition. The walls and corridors are...

As soon as I walked in the gate and looked at this B&B I said "Oh my.... What have I done?" My husband was meeting me here and I thought, he's going to kill me, this places is a dump! The gardens could be glorious with a really good tidy up and it costs nothing to sweep down cobwebs, sweep...

Decent stay this, enjoyed for the most part. Staff very friendly, breakfast superb, room of a good size. Shower worked well. Free wifi and a good wifi too. Location - depends what you like. A little walk from town, however VERY close to a tram stop and by the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens so make up your own mind and I...

I wouldn't recommend rooms 8 or 9. We were moved from 9 to 8. Not sure about the other rooms, but this hotel is very run down. The rooms look nothing like the promotional photos. The cleanliness level was not at a good standard. The staff were helpful and did end up offering a refund (through Jetstar), but it was...
